I WROTE A SONG

So I have a 3-page paper due tomorrow that I haven’t started, I need to start a huge project that is due Friday, I need to wake up early to shower and get ready, and I need to do all my laundry tomorrow, and instead of going to sleep on time, I decided to stay up til 2 IN THE MORNING writing a song.  To be fair, it’s coming along nicely, but STILL! I’m a little worried that the song I recently have been working song will sound a little too similar to All Too Well, but I think I’m okay.  I wrote it, then listened to All Too Well with Camber, then went back to writing it and realized it has the same vibes.  Idk if that’s good because All Too Well is my fav song, but I don’t want people to think I’m trying to copy Taylor Swift.  Also the song is one of the those songs where there isn’t a defined chorus, but it does have a kind of defined name.  I wanted the name to be obvious without being obvious, so it’s called More.  Basically what happens is that every once in a while in the song, there is a part where it starts to sound similar.  The lyrics are just slightly different.  It’s just 2 lines, but the first line says something then says “how it felt to be yours” then the second line uses however I started the first line to connect the 2 then ends with more.  Idk if that made sense, but I’m afraid if I add the lyrics, someone will think they’re genius and steal them.  But at the same time, someone could steal what I’ve already said and also, I’m pretty sure this post is proof that I came up with it so I'm just gonna say it.  One part is “even now I remember how it felt to be yours // when all I really wanted was to mean something more”.   Another one is “just when I forget how it felt to be yours // you pull me back in, then leave me wanting more”. See how they kind of tie together?  And its not like it’s an actual chorus, but it is kind of like a little way for me to say that this is my song More.  Ya know?  Also, I have no melody for this song.  After listening to All Too Well, I keep imagining my lyrics to that melody and now that I know that some of them work, I can’t make one up for myself, but I know that I want it to sound slow and wounded, but still strong I guess?  When people hear the song, I want them to hear how broken this girl is without hearing the actual lyrics, but I don’t want her to sound pathetic.  idk. I’m just gonna have to finish the lyrics then find someone who can help me add the actual music
