This poster for Wright’s biopic of Winston Churchill is astounding. Not only is the film an Oscar winning worthy performance by Gary Oldman and worthy of the Best Picture nomination and win, this poster displays the struggle of Churchill in his attempts to unite Parliament to declare war on Germany. It is a lovely poster with severe contrast and beautiful design. Bravo to the designer.

A display of artistic direction, animation, typography, film, motion graphics, and musical composition, Beyond is a concept piece that could be an entire feature film, or a series of feature films. The use of space and placement, giving the typography interaction with the film, is superb. Easily, it is one of the best uses of mixed media that I have seen in a long time. Bravo.

A series of photographs featuring radio telescopes and the food reserve bank in Russia. What is pleasing about this series is the consistently of spherical shapes, a stylistic choice of centering the subject and a clear, clean color palette. Beautiful work.

A beautiful film with great use of animation and visual effects with a strong message.

What is inspiring about this, is the way emotion is portrayed in these is profound, giving a glimpse into a life of both bliss and despair using the medium of charcoal.

The texturing and rendering of this model is used for a game. Similar to Roman Roschencko work presentation, assuming that this is the standard. Lovely example of proper lighting. It makes me want to play whatever this game is.

This film was featured in the 2017 Nashville Film Festival, the film was fantastic and timely, not because of the election of Donald Trump; however, the film is not about what Donald Trump was to do, but rather what Kim Jong-un and Omar al-Bashir and others were doing. In other words, the filmmakers, who put the label of “this is about Donald Trump” do not know what this film about. Still, the trailer showcases masterful editing, color correction, and brilliant compositing.

Beautiful images of the northern lights, something that I have always wanted to witness for myself. Lovely display of the auras with great use of Photoshop.

One of my favorite music videos. It combined vintage footage with modern footage, with black and white color grading and extreme superimposition. The editing is phenomenal and fits the song, which is a love letter to middle America, extremely well. Fantastically arranged by Jay Clifford. The video was made by John Grigsby, and carries a “Trip to the Moon” style feel throughout. Geroges Melies would be extremely proud of this.

Lovely photography of South Dakota that demonstrates the power, danger, and beauty of nature. There is violence and moments of brevity captured here. Beautiful touchups in Lightroom. Certainly, a crash course on composition.

A concept for a new building that now exists in St. Petersburg, Russia, what I love about the design is the marriage between old and new style of building, having a touch of Imperialist Russia with a modern twist, suggesting that history is alive and well but moderation and the future is being embraced. While it is not the prettiest building, it is a nice one that looks like it belongs in a Wes Anderson movie. Lovely digital work and photography involved.

This 3D model was created in 3DS Max, the companion program to Maya with assistance from Z-Brush, is exceptionally well presented and made, it gives the viewer a chance to view the model up close and close personal to observe the details and intricacies of the model. Extremely well done, and I have noticed that I enjoy most of Mr. Roschencko’s work.

This light simulation, which displays a lovely arrange of colors, mostly purple, which is an often neglected color in art. The final product in the video demonstrates the care and precision of the animation and special effects involved in the promotion for the car.
