Rewatching the 90s Mortal Kombat movies yet again on Arrow Video's 4K collection.

Honestly my favorite film series based on MK, even if Annihilation is not as good as 1995.

#*sigh* now i must rewatch iе in better quality i guess #there is the only drawback in 1995 film - there's no kung lao imao!#almost everything else is muuuuuch better than in new MK films...#apart from the fact that kitana and sonya don't fight a lot in 1995 film and have to be rescued in the series...#that's a bit disappointing!#but i still need to watch this series about great kung lao #so far i've seen only 1.5 episodes and raiden is such raiden even here!#he has no intention to train new champions for the Earth so puts this burden on kung lao lol #great kung lao reminds me of liu kang from 1995 film btw #but that's not a surprise as they're bound by blood according to that canon line?!#mortal kombat #mortal kombat 1995 #mortal kombat annihilation #liu kang #sonya blade #kitana #johnny cage #mk raiden #new line cinema

Currently thinking about the dynamic Liu Kang and Sonya have in the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie. The interactions they share with each other in the film are really interesting (and dare I say they're both very good looking.)

This is probably one of my favorite interactions of them from the film.

As soon as I decided to post I've been part of a watercolour painting club for around two months and drawn a few pictures, the tutor told me the anti-cafe (time club) hosting our art club ceases cooperation. It means the very next week we aren't supposed to have any more art lessons there. That's pretty unfair as nobody expected this. Besides, the thing is both Sunday and Monday's watercolour painting clubs were very quickly kicked out of the timetable for no visible reason! Like Argenta from Rogue Trader says, 'I'm enraged!'xD

At least, now, it seems our tutor's found a temporary place to settle, not far from the cafe. If it works, it'll be a relief! I'm already used to relaxing and escaping from all the daily routines and troubles while painting. Watercolours are a serious challenge to me as I've never been taught how to use them properly. But I look at random pictures and realize I have enough motivation so far to try to handle watercolours a bit. I'm inspired by vibrant colours and process itself I guess.

And I secretly hope that current practice can help me to gain enough skills to draw some sceneries from my fav CRPGs including NWN, NWN 2, KOTOR, Rogue Trader and etc. I have had plenty of ideas I could bring to life for so long!

I see the mistakes but have to admit the pictures I've drawn could be much worse. In fact, they're better than I expected!)

#damn it's hard to be new to smth!#but luckily my poor fingers and wrists don't get hurt thanks to vitamins medicine and exercises!#i need to go to doctors for a regular check-up and changing my exercises... but i'm such a chicken!#instead i was at the concert led by an italian conductor on friday and watched new mortal kombat 2 at the cinema on saturday!xD #and completed another painting on monday... apart from working and dealing with bloody documents of course #thinking about buying watercolours but still not sure if it's worth it #because i know myself and how easily i can switch to pencils i'm used to or try smth else #ramblings #real life stuff #life is life #watercolours #my paintings #i forgot i liked some backgrounds in mortal kombat movies too!)#the obvious issue is that i easily spoil paper with water... ordered a different type which is thicker #i also have a wip but not sure if i should complete it though...

Okay, first, that's amusing! Second, that's something I do on a regular basis when I learn another successful move (but it doesn't normally work on hard, unluckily). Last, this Liu Kang's move is one of the most annoying in MK 11! When I fight against him, he often spams this move, that's unfair!

#that how i got i could like this movie!xD #johnny cage is such a prick here at first #but i like his dynamic with sonya and liu... as well as i admire their banters and the way liu and sonya treat johnny initially #seems johnny is not so upset about the suitcase since he has a bunch of suitcases left!xD #still liu offers johnny his hand with the suitcases later... not sure what exactly liu'd do with them lol #that's nice all the main characters are not completely serious about everything going on #tbh i'm a bit tired both of a great deal of seriousness in some modern action films #and of endless jokes in others that can make some scenes silly/pointless (hello guardians of the galaxy 2 and 3)#mortal kombat #mortal kombat 1995 #johnny cage #liu kang #this movie is pretty relaxing and nice to watch #i'd like to see the 2nd and 3d parts at the same level or higher(#i know about the continuation and its problems and that's the reason i'm of watching that #although i watched it many years ago i hardly remember anything #also i must say how charming and charismatic liu kang is here!#and i also like johnny kitana sonya raiden and not only #couldn't stop laughing at some moments like this... that moment was truly unexpected #and the music in this movie is PERFECTION yeah!#random stuff #sorry not sorry!#Youtube
