it's me again. except this time, i'm feeling more joyful than not, despite life not looking the way i thought it would at age 29. i love that I've had this blog for 16 years now. it's delightful to have this as a visual platform to see my growth throughout the years, even before i knew you. because you've always known me.

i've obsessed so much about marriage, that even though i've been more happy in singleness for longer than usual, these feelings for a man of God have now creeped up again. and this time it's not been born out of rebellion, but possibly out of my own understanding. my friend Karen thinks i should be with Mohamed. i don't think i should wait for a man that still lives in unbelief. that still is seeing other women. who still continues to ignore year after year.

i understand that you give countless chances, because you are love. but you have to understand me too. i have love because of you. and i cannot keep standing for a man that has shown no progress these past few years.
