(Part.2) : NOWHERE, on July 28th. After this, they will embark on their world tour. Following careful discussion with all four members, we have reached an agreement to conclude KARD’s activities with these final promotions. We would like to once again express our deepest gratitude to HIDDEN KARD, who have walked alongside KARD for so long. We ask for your warm encouragement and support for each of the members as they continue on their individual paths. KARD debuted in 2017 as one of K-Pop’s few co-ed groups and have received vast amounts of love and support from fans both domestically and internationally.

Group ends journey after releasing first full album and completing world tour

[OSEN=Seon Mi-kyung Reporter] Coed group KARD (KARD) will conclude their team activities nine years after their debut.

DSP Media announced through its official channels on the 6th that KARD will end their activities. The group decided to wrap up their team activities after releasing their first full album ‘Where To Now? (Part.2) : NOWHERE’ on the 28th and completing their world tour.

DSP Media stated, “After careful discussions with the four members, the company agreed to conclude KARD’s journey following this activity. We once again express our gratitude to all HIDDEN KARD (HIDDEN KARD) fans who have accompanied KARD over the years, and we kindly request your warm support and encouragement for the new paths the members will pursue in their respective roles.”

It added, “We hope the new album and tour, prepared with all their hearts by the members, will remain precious memories for HIDDEN KARD fans. We kindly ask for your continued interest in this final activity, which will be filled with the most KARD-like moments until the end.”

This marks the conclusion of their nine-year journey since their debut on July 19, 2017.

KARD is a four-member co-ed group consisting of the members J.seph, BM, Somin, and Jiwoo. They debuted in 2017 and have released hits including “Don’t Recall,” “Hola Hola,” “Bomb Bomb,” and more.

ATEEZ captures its third No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart as GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5 arrives atop the tally (dated July 11). The group previously hit No. 1 with GOLDEN HOUR : Part.2 in 2024 and THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL in 2023. Dating to its first in 2022, the group has racked up nine top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 and stands as the group with the most top 10s in the 2020s.

The new set launches with 228,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States in the week ending July 3, largely driven by pure album sales (223,000). Both figures represent career-highs for the act.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 2,500 ad-supported or 1,000 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album. Of GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5’s 228,000 first-week equivalent album units, album sales comprise 223,000 (it debuts at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart), SEA units comprise 5,000 (equaling 4.96 million on-demand official streams of the set’s songs) and TEA units comprise a negligible sum.

GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5 garners ATEEZ its best week by equivalent album units earned, and by traditional album sales.

The new album marks ATEEZ’s ninth top 10 on the Billboard 200, all earned consecutively. The act notched its first top 10 with the No. 3-peaking THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT in 2022. In total, with nine top 10s in the 2020s, ATEEZ now has the most top 10s among groups this decade. The act was previously tied with Stray Kids and TOMORROW X TOGETHER.

GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5’s album sales were aided by its availability across 30 CD variants and five vinyl variants (all containing collectible items such as photocards, posters and stickers, with some items randomized), including signed editions.

The set is the lone debut in the top 10 on the Billboard 200. Olivia Rodrigo’s you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love falls to No. 2 after two weeks in the lead, earning 127,000 equivalent album units in its third chart week (down 29%).

Five fellow former No. 1s are next on the list. Ella Langley’s Dandelion is a non-mover at No. 3 (82,000 equivalent album units, down 3%), Drake’s ICEMAN dips 2-4 (80,000, down 11%), Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem falls 4-5 (79,000, down less than 1%), Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide is down 5-6 (64,000, down 4%) and Michael Jackson’s Thriller descends 6-7 (48,000, down 10%).

Jackson’s Number Ones falls 7-8 (43,000, down 9%). Wallen’s chart-topping One Thing at a Time is down 8-9 with 40,000 equivalent album units earned (up 1%), while Olivia Rodrigo’s The Art of Loving rounds out the top 10, falling 9-10 with 34,000 (down 1%).

ATEEZ has become the group with the most top 10 albums this decade on the Billboard 200!

On July 5 local time, Billboard announced that ATEEZ’s new mini album “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5” had debuted at No. 1 on its famous Top 200 Albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States.

“GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5” is ATEEZ’s third No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, following “THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL” and “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.2.” It is also their ninth consecutive top 10 album on the Billboard 200, continuing an unbroken streak that began with “THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT” in 2022.

With a total of nine top 10s in the 2020s, ATEEZ has set a new record for the most top 10 albums of any group this decade—breaking a three-way tie with Stray Kids and TXT.

Additionally, ATEEZ achieved their biggest week yet in the United States with their new mini album. According to Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music), “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5” earned a total of 228,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on July 3, marking a new career high for the group.

The album’s total score consisted of 223,000 traditional album sales—marking a new personal record for ATEEZ and also making it the best-selling album of the week in the United States—and 5,000 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, which translates to 4.96 million on-demand audio streams over the course of the week.
