My advice for girls who are waiting for their Prince Charming is to be open for anything. Be open to new experiences, be open to the idea that it may take longer than you want, but if you’re open to meeting new people and new adventures, then love will come along.

Don’t take, you know, the nike campaigns or the victoria’s secret campaigns to think you need bigger boobs, or a better butt, or you need tighter, you know abs or whatever. Be happy with who you are and love your insecurities. Because when you grow up, I think, that’s what’s gonna make you, “you”. It’s what’s going to differentiate you from the group.

I’ve specifically decided to say no to projects that weren’t advancing Latinos, that weren’t showing us in a positive light, roles that were gratuitous and spreading untruths.

“I went to a school called Tring Park School for the Performing Arts. I went because initially I was very naughty, and my mom thought if I was busy, I’d be better. And I didn’t really do acting until later on in the school, with an amazing teacher. I left, went traveling, came back. And then it all kind of went from there.”
