For the past six years, youβve been my constant companion. My shadow. Every morning when I got up, youβd be there to greet me. Youβd come sit with me while I worked. Youβd climb on the desk and watch me play games, sometimes trying to get whatever was on the screen. Youβd hop onto the bed and sleep next to me at night.
I was never going to be ready to say goodbye, but I know itβs time. Thank you for the past six years. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for bringing so much joy and laughter to my life. Six years wasnβt nearly enough time, but I treasure every second we had.
