Daily Analog, Day 16: Overgrowth This was taken during one of my lunchtime photo-walks. Ive gotten into the habit of picking a direction, walking for 20 minutes taking photos, and walking back. Daily Analog, Day 15: Vintage Rock More cross-processing goodness! This time it was a window of a second-hand shop, ahem, sorry, "recycled clothing" store, and I was crossing the road with the focus on my Diana mini still set for the window and spotted this gorgeous old boat of a car. Daily Analog, Day 13: Ironworks More from the Eveleigh Markets and the former Evidence film. The sky's blue in the corner and the reds and browns of brick and iron. Daily Analog, Day 9: Mystery Wave. Ack, sorry guys, a day late as I was feeling so wretched yesterday. This time it's a mystery wave half-moon thing that I have no idea how it got there. Daily Analog, Day 7: Sunrise In Black. The Sunrise Hotel of King st, with it's lurid green and pink neon, becomes muted in black and white. I was shocked that the rafters and the chap on the street all got to be sharp and in focus. Daily Analog, Day 5: Implied Box. South King st, dusk falling, end of the roll. All these things add up to experimentation. I did some long exposures, and some, like the left, we're successful, and some, like the right, we're not. But everything was something different and I was happy to give it a go. Daily Analog, Day 4: Bleeding Through. This was on King at, under an umbrella on an incredibly rainy Saturday. I had met up with @pixel8ted to take some photos, and though the digital ones were a success, almost all the analogs were too dark or blurred out. This was a photo of two randoms that walked by as I was waiting. For some reason, it merged with the too-dark photo of Linda on the other side, causing the shadows to appear solid, and their small puddle of light to look like a smudge. #analog #lomography #lomo #diana #dianamini #analogoftheday #DailyAnalog (Taken with Instagram)

Daily Analog, Day 3: Passive Resistance. This was taken at St Jude, an awesome cafe on Bourke St. These two were at the table next to us, and sat cuddled together the whole meal. Te light wasn't strong enough, and I had te wrong focus distance, resulting in a washed-out low-contrast picture with lots of noise. I even tried to push it through Camera+ to punch it up, but it actively resisted digital manipulation, despite the passivity of the subjects, hence the title. Daily Analog, Day 2: Gateway to Badde Manors. This was two photos, one of the ornately-painted door to Glebe cafe Badde Manors, shortly before I entered to discover they don't serve pancakes after 11:30, and another of the traffic and the park beyond. So this is something I've decided to do. I've recently gotten back in analog photography using a Diana Mini, and have scanned in a whole heap of the photos. I want to share what I've done with you folks, but I don't want to clog your feed, so I'm going to do one a day, trying to pick ones that highlight what film can do. Daily Analog, Day 1: Landsdowne-around. This was snapped as I was walking to the bus stop with the Diana Mini in B Mode, held down for a little over a second.
