“You think they care about me? You’re naive then.”

“…It is the most fascinating book. I am enjoying every moment of it. Very enlightening. It’s helped the development of my spell along quite well.”

“Show me the spell.”

“Narcissa.”

“Severus.”

“I will…tell on you…or something.”

“Who would you tell? None of your friends care about me, and no one I associate with would give you the time of day.”

“You make every outfit look stunning.” Glenda rolled her eyes, trying not to laugh. “It’s terribly unfair.”

“I would say it’s genetic, but I do it better than most.” Narcissa shrugged. “Though, I do prefer to wear it in black.”

“It’s unwise to skip meals, Narcissa. Perhaps a few more bites?”

“No thank you. Can we talk about something else perhaps? How far are you into the book I lent you?”

“And yet. I don’t care. Eat. “

“Or what?”

“But why drink with this on when we could look cute,” she said, already rummaging through her things. “Cissy… we should try to have fun. I know it’s been a terrible few weeks but… a night out might help.”

“I don’t know about you, but I definitely make this outfit look stunning.” Narcissa said the glimmer of a smirk ghosting her face. “But let’s do what you want. It’s not like I particularly care.”

“Well, Well, Well, would you look at who it is?” Amycus said in mock surprise, after definitely hanging around some mistletoe in wait for a girl to walk by.

“Oh, you’ve got to be kidding me.”

“What’s going on?”

“The Second Sight it is.”

“We need to change, though – they’ll never let us in like this.”

“They’ll let me in anywhere. Any time, actually, but we can change if you want to. I can’t imagine that drinking in our uniforms will be very fun.”

“We can go to London if you like. Or Caerphilly,” she suggested, grabbing her cloak. “Maybe even hit up the Second Sight if you really wanted to get your mind off things.”

“Second Sight sounds great.” Narcissa said as she slid her Slytherin cloak off and dropped it onto the floor. “I need a drink.”

“Well, Peter showed me this passage we can use going into Hogsmeade. And then – well, technically, now that I’ve my apparition licence, we could go anywhere we wanted. Within reason.”

“Let’s get out of here then.” Cissy pushed herself up from the table in the Great Hall. She needed a distraction. Ever since the passing of her Uncle, her mind had been traveling in circles. None of the thoughts were very promising. “Anywhere you want. I’ll pay.”

“How about we go get some proper food?” She suggested. “I’ve been itching for a chance to sneak out.”

“Fine.” Narcissa said tossing her silverware to the side. “Where do you want to go?”
