Okay now I’m actually sad because it means I won’t get more Marcus as Perrin yeah let’s bring this show back immediately with haste whatever it takes for him alone

He worked so hard to bring life to Perrin Aybara and as I’m reading the book right nw the amount of tiny micro expressions and details of Perrin that Marcus brought should be applauded immensely like how whenever someone mentions Perrin eyes he looks down looks not ashamed but closes himself off to the people world or how in s1 you could not see that man head be up but now he’s always standing up tall not for himself but for the people that are looking towards him and when he’s like alone with Faile Alanna or loial he’s head is down again and he’s not as closed off like he usually is, it’s not there bc he knows he can’t pretend around them because they see through him it be it mainly because they’ve experienced that same feeling he’s carrying Faile Alanna Illa or because they know him say Loial

and no one knows nor is more connected to their character more deeply then Marcus like you can tell he understands Perrin and the people Perrin interact with in such way that he should really start writing his own scripts and characters because his analysis of Perrin or Faile is just incredible and how little time we had Faile or was there but he just got/saw her too it takes a great actor to live with his character and have that kind deep connection havent seen an actor have that since Emilia in GOT, Peter as 12th Doc + LukeN as Colin and Matt as Daemon all great actors that so no surprise there!

if Josh truly knew or cared about he would’ve understood that wolf isn’t the social type like why would he ask him to be there when wolf hates such things? especially get hurt by wolf not showing up when he broke it off with wolf without any reason last time because his boss told him not to hurt her son!

Brilliant Minds fandom truly is a wild one. I'm gonna be team Jacob, Ericka, and Dana 100% though. The amount that I don't care about Van could power entire cities. I actually love how complex they have made the interns! The show is technically about Wolf, but the interns are so well rounded and I'm just really pleased with them. I want to know more about all three of them. Van doesn't exist.

The entire way the fandom approaches the Wolf/Josh relationship is very "lol, all queer relationships in media must never face strife ever and must always be happpy! With no disagreements!" in the way that media does, and it's frankly boring, but that's Tumblr's understanding of queer media representation, tbh.

like, there was people going to watch season 2 ready to hate him again

then in season 3 they started to call him useless, as if he wasn't the one that came with the firework plan that saved el

so the switch up that the audience did at season 4 by everybody suddenly liking him was kinda surprising to me (but he still very underrated)

so i'm really skeptical that some of these people will start saying that he was their "GOAT" (greatest of all time) since season 1, after he does something very clever in season 5 (like he did in every season), as if they wasn't talking shit about him before

anyway, at the end he will survive and have his happy ending and live happy as a king with his queen max mayfield

it’s also it’s kinda ironic how Van is the one who feels everything but it’s always Jacob going through it emotionally with every patient, the only time he made a mistake was because he promised a patient she’ll be fine and that’s because he was so emotionally invested in his patient recovery then there’s the other times like with the soilder or Roman where he was the only so against him giving up very ironic the guy whos suppose to be not emotionally attached is the one that keeps getting attached it’s very clear he’s also a perfectionist because he is struggling thinking he’s a bad doctor when being a doctor was just his something he settled on because he couldn’t do what he loved oh I love him!

There's a very weird knee-jerk reaction in this fandom about Jacob that isn't warranted at all. Especially considering the characterization of the other characters on the show.

One of the main white leads literally ditched his romantic partner because his boyfriend's mommy told him to not to hurt him and y'all think the black guy is "awful." Nah. All day nah.
