Proud Grinch Fucker

The Grinch (2018) doesn’t deserve all the hate that it’s getting. People are comparing it to Jim Carrey’s Grinch and talking about how it sucks next to his movie.

While it’s true Jim Carrey’s Grinch made two times as more as this year’s, people are acting like they can’t both be great movies about the same characters.

Yes, this year’s movie approached the Grinch in a more cutesy way, but he still had his sinister moments. Also, I feel in this one he’s more… likable. In one scene, the Grinch gets stuck in a huge crowd and has a panic attack - something I think a lot of us can relate to and empathize with, which is more important than his looks or his mannerisms.

This year’s The Grinch was, in my opinion, just as good as Jim Carrey’s. In fact, I’d have to say I liked it more. It was a fantastic movie that, I think, deserves more recognition.
