Where do I go from here?

Have you ever stopped whatever you were doing and asked yourself: “Where do I go from here?” That question becomes more and more frequent to me as the nights get longer. I suppose what I’ve been trained or rather brain-washed to pursue the American Dream. You know the one I’m talking about: Find a good job. Find a wife and have kids. Purchase a car, and the house with a white picket fence. I mean, I do want these things eventually. I think I really want to understand myself inside and out before I get to that chapter of my life. All throughout my childhood, I watched countless movies and shows depicting love as the motivation of the protagonist. I’m not sure if it spoke with me or it was forcefully drilled into my head through countless hours on the boob tube.

I suppose I’m just ranting. I should start blogging more on my Tumblr. It feels pretty nice to put my thoughts somewhere relatively safe. LOL. Sorry for rambling on. Need to work on my cohesion.

Last year.

Last year was fucking miserable, except all of the events I went to. Last year and the year before, For the past two fucking years, I didn't love myself. Two years lost. I really hope this year will be different. I must learn how to love myself and know how much I'm worth. A lot has happened in the past five weeks.
