Contributor applications for Cheers! A Beverage Gijinka Zine, are open from Feb 1st to Feb 29th!

We are looking for artists for the main zine, merch artists, and NSFW artists for the companion zine that will feature alcohol gijinka. All application forms are located at the BOTTOM of this post.

Please keep in minds these general portfolio requirements:

Make sure portfolio and sample pieces are operational LINKS

Portfolios MUST be to professional sites or art handles that feature mostly the applicant’s art rather than personal posts or others’ art

Most, if not all pieces in the portfolio , must be FULL, COMPLETED works and not sketches or WIPs

Minimum of 5 pieces; must have pieces that aren’t just your sample works - No traced or stolen artwork

No problematic content (i.e. racism, sexism, etc.).

We are willing to judge NSFW portfolios or portfolio pieces if you are applying to the NSFW companion zine. If you have NSFW pieces in your merch artist or regular artist portfolio, please denote this in your application form.

And while not required, we ask that you please submit portfolios that are EASY TO VIEW or are tagged so that your art is easy to find; this will make the evaluation process easier on us. We would also like to see prior character design or gijinka work if you have any.

We will instantly disqualify applicants that fail to obey application rules and requirements.

If you are interested in several positions, we ask that you apply separately for each and denote in the comments section of the forms if you are willing to be accepted for multiple positions or only a single one.
