The beautiful thing about life is that you can always change, grow and get better. You aren’t defined by your past. You aren’t your mistakes.

Bad times don’t last. Your happiness is always going to come back.

This is what happened in love. One of you cried a lot and then both of you grew sarcastic.

Wasn’t it nice?“ she said into the silence. "To feel wanted, even if it was only for a little while?“ "And if it wasn’t real?” came the voice critically, scrutinising her. She squeezed her eyes shut and thought for a moment. “It was nice,” she repeated, “even if it wasn’t real.”

I try to remember that people who belong together do not need to be glued together.
