Shootinā Shit

āGG dude. Youāve done good.ā He said watching Michael begin to load the weapons. Gunās were one thing that always made Ray excited, shooting things was to him what shopping was to Gavin. To think that three years ago when he was still just a no one that heād be where he is now is weird. The crew literally was his life and to think what heād be without them. Well, dead. That was probably the answer.
āOf course Gavin told you.ā He said with a huff.Ā āThatās actually why Iām here. Iām using it as a tension relief, sitting at home was making me fucking nervous.āĀ
Michael grinned at Ray over the pile of guns. He shrugged his shoulders. He had other guns, of course, pistol strapped under the seat of the bifta, and a few more in the little trunk. Emergencies and all. But the Wild Card enjoyed the fact that he was loading weapons for fun, not to kill someone at the moment.Ā
āThis is not how I relieve tension, but hey.. once this date is out of the way maybe you can try a few of my tricks with your boyfriend.ā Michael said the last bit sing-songish. He wanted to tease Ray just a little. Gavin hadnāt told him right off the bat. Heād tried to make him guess. But then got fed up with Michael not guessing correctly, as he would normally do, and spit it out.
Of course, at first Michael had giggled. But now he was just.
āDonāt let Gavin get you too worked up about it. Itās just a date. People go on them all the time. Mind you, the person youāre going with makes people disappear..ā Michael reached out and patted Rayās shoulder.
āDonāt worry about it. This is the last thing Iām saying about it: Itās Ā just dinner, or lunch, or whatever. With someone youāve eaten with several times. Just be yourself.ā Michael dropped his hands back to his guns and finished loading them.
āNow, lets shoot the fuck outta something.ā
