"Hey," Tommy sat next to her and took her hand in his, "I treated your cancer myself, remember?  It’s gone and it is not going to come back."  He gave her a warm smile, "art however I can’t help you with."

"With all due respect, Doctor, if I had a nickle for every time one of you people told me it wasn't coming back again, I'd be a lot richer then the daughter of a billionaire." She frowned, "I've been fighting this since I was three. It's not just going to go away."

"You haven’t been at school for two days," he reminded her as he inspected her eyes, ears, and mouth with a small light.  "Is anything going on in your life that you’d like to talk about?  Perhaps you’re experiencing a lot of stress?"

"Stress? What's there to stress about? I just have a little bit of cancer, but hey, six months in remission, that's a win." She replied sarcastically, "Oh and I'm failing art."
