Hands went up placatingly while the bow was pointing at him - Akira meant no harm - and went down as the bow did.

"We haven't, but I've seen your type before. You're an agility build, so even at your highest armor you'd probably prefer something on the lighter end of the scale, and you're way stronger than you look. That's why I'm telling you to get more gear - armor and weapon - before you head off to fight that guy." He nodded towards the castle, where Akira had on more than one occasion (always night, always red) seen Big Nasty flying around, screaming at the heavens.

"Seen his type before too. Real big, real strong, and hits like a boulder to the face. Stubborn as an ox and won't stay down until you practically have his legs lopped off. Hence the suggestion." He looks away from the castle, turning to Link and offering him an apologetic grin.

He wasn't planning to yet. He was well aware that at his current recovery, he would lose. There was also the little issue that he...was missing vital parts of his memory.

Shouldn't he try to recover that first, if...that was at all possible.

"...You missed the truffles over there," Link pointed to a nearby grove of trees. The truffles would surely prove beneficial to other people--not just him. He paused, then redirected where he was pointing.

"The radishes there, too."

As peaceful as the vast open areas had been...it all carried a heavy weight, now. How desolate, empty, quiet it all was...

For that one specific reason.

The blond's eyes scanned the horizon until they fell upon the castle. Calamity Ganon...The being of pure evil that he was tasked with ending, for a princess he barely remembered.

...Eventually.

He wanted a better grasp of what was going on, but even then...what he was learning made everything all the more depressing about the area. The serene meadows, the quiet breeze drifting through the forests...

Or so he'd thought, anyway.

It was on one of the now regular gathering runs (why all these plants were so common in the wilderness Akira did not know) that he spotted him.

A... young man. Armed. Fit. Combat-ready, Akira could tell. By the way he held himself, he was the sort who didn't strictly need gear like most others did. That special kind of fit and agile that Akira was so familiar with, being like that himself.

...Princess. Zelda? Link.

Ah.

No wonder it felt like the young man was more dangerous than he looked. He was.

The approach hadn't gone unheard, so the bow was already held in his hands--knocked with an arrow as well. However, when he heard the voice, all he did was face who it was that spoke.

Another person. A Hylian? No...his ears weren't pointed.

He slipped his arrow back into the holster hanging at his hip and the bow found its place upon his back again.

"...Have we met?"
