This is the kind of blog I've been looking for! I have mixed hair and I literally don't know what to do with it ever! Parts of it is shorter than the rest, like it just keeps breaking off. It refuses to get any longer which I'm guessing means my hair is just to dry?

Your hair is probably pretty dry! I would suggest doing deep conditioning treatments while continuously trimming off the dead parts of your hair. If you’ve tended to dye/bleach/straighten/use heat on your hair OFTEN, that causes a whole lot of damage. Essentially what you want to do now is ease up on the heat, the dying, and the bleach, and concentrate on cutting back the damaged parts so that you can grow new, beautiful, HEALTHY locks!

Hi!

Definitely ask you stylist if they can use Olaplex. It costs a bit extra (like 25 bucks extra at my salon) but it is WORTH IT. Don’t wash your hair for a couple days after you get it done. Your hair is going to be VERY dry, but Olaplex and regular deep conditioning treatments should help that!
