Man sometimes it feels like I can't even draw well enough to actually stick to something. Glam from Barbie Fashionistas 2009 collection. I had a previous WIP of this doll but the more I looked at it, the more I realized I hate drawing full body pics... whatever I'll stick to waist up for now and redo a bunch of wips
Decided to redo that drawing of Cutie. This time, leaning more into the gyaru vibes as the doll was based on. Honestly, I love this version better and I learned that my canvas needs to be larger than 16:9 if I want to avoid horrific pixelation...
Glam from Barbie Fashionistas 2009 line. Obviously a WIP here. Hey look, a watermark along with the watermark. Watermark-ception
I've learned to increase the canvas size so that I'm not working on pixels. Too bad I realized that after finishing this
Anyway, nostalgia hit and artist block went away so here's a drawing of Barbie Fashionista's Cutie Doll from 2009. I started this weeks ago and kept it going with the rest of the dolls from that line. I'll upload those when I finally feel like drawing again

Wizard101 Head Canons: Fire Students
idk it's something to do when I have artist's block
Typical enrollment age: 12-19 years old
Typical subject to have an A+ in at time of enrollment: Science, Math
Preferred sport at the time of enrollment: none
Most likely to roommate with: Student of Ice
Classes on: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays (optional)
Wizard101 School of Death (Now with Lighter Version)
(Added a lighter version because I forgot dark images tend to look...well dark when not shown at it's full size)
I stand by my opinion of death students; they are the most selfish school of them all. They can be strong but 9 times out of 10, they will never be supportive. All of their spells are centered around death so I guess it's excusable somewhat. Still, they have spells that'll keep their team from dying yet they'd rather let everyone die than give some percentage of their own FULL HEALTH to them.
With that rant out of the way...
Death students humble themselves in the art of passing into the great beyond (rather than over the rainbow as Life students call it). While they are destructive on the same level of Storm students, they are much less reckless. Though, they do tend to interfere with a Life student's studies i.e. killing a plant a life student is currently nurturing as homework or commanding their dark sprites to go scare a life fairy. Despite a death student's opposing personality, they often find themselves sharing a dorm with a very enthusiastic life student wanting to observe them closer.
Wizard101 School of Life
And here we are. Onto the spirit schools with the first entry: Life students.
No matter what battle you're in, you SHOULD ALWAYS have a life wizard with you. They're the support, defense, and offense. Of course with them being about preserving life, their novice spells don't do too much damage in the more serious battles but they make up for it with their support spells.
A head canon: Life students aren't exactly dismissive of Death students. If anything, they find them to be quite fun to be around. They assume that Death students view life as precious just like they do, they just have a difficult time of showing it. Of course, they know not to let their guard down around Death students; with one flick of the wand, a Death student can bring a Life student to an early grave. To a student of life, Death students are friends and foes.

Wizard101: School of Storm
Finally done with this one. There's really not much to say about it other than I wish I could've done more work with the lighting without screwing it up. Storm students, again, are all offense and amazingly so.
A thing I like to think of when it comes to this class is that the students are so energetic that being so makes their magic more powerful and dangerous than when they're mad. They're a little over confident of themselves and often view Ice and Fire students as "unable to really understand their own magic" and that the School of Storm is only for people who "harness power and science over belief and myths".
As one can expect, they're the polar opposite of the School of Myth and waste no time trying to rival those students. They're confident in their trust in the power of the storm but being over confident could be their downfall to the Myth student...
It's a work in progress. I've learned to save my base colors and shade the full thing first before moving to individual shading. I'm trying my best to replicate that storm staff that's basically a staff of lightning bolts (can't remember what it was called) but the brush I'm using is a little picky...
Anyways. This one is taking long because I've only recently found some free time. Wizard101: Storm Student WIP

Yo, I'll be back to posting again soon. College just keeps me busy is all.. I should be back to working on the storm student drawing this Friday hopefully.
Wizard101: School of Ice
Finally got to drawing this on my free time. I would've had it done probably just a week after the last drawing but college had me running all over the place. Anyways...
A nice little fan cannon I like to think about for ice students is that, due to using so many spells involving freezing temperatures and ice, eventually an ice student would have finger tips or noses constantly covered in snowflakes or ice that only they can tolerate. While they aren't hostile towards fire students, they'd probably prefer not to be within the same room as a student who casts spells that could melt an ice student's entire library...
I also tend to think that ice students would actually tend to admire fire students for trying to control such a dangerous element. Note: "trying to"

Wizard101: School of Fire
I had this ready yesterday but I wasn't satisfied with it. Obviously I changed the pose, took inspiration from the Cape of Fire gear, and tweaked the symbol to give it more perspective (but looking at it now, it just looks swished).
Since fire is typically bad for the skin, I like to think of School of Fire students as having charred finger tips and palms so I gave the character here just that (but it's barely noticeable). It's just a little concept I like to think about in case I do end up making an entire comic series...
Redrawings
...I have no problem with the way I drew the wizards from the Ravenwood schools but I know I could do better. So, I'll redraw them all. I'll probably switch a few genders but it's unlikely. Also, sorry for the lack of posts. Just trying to get some personal things together.
