Luukku 9: Vanhat cringet

Ihan ekoissa suunnitelmissa Benjillä oli jtn sinistä taikaa ja Narilla ehkä vihreää, emmuista. Niitten oli myös tarkoitus käydä joku kaksintaistelu. Ja Narin alkuperänen design näytti nii paljon paljasta ihoa, apuaaaaa.

In my very first plans Benji had some sort of blue magic and Nari had maybe the power of green, I don't remember. They were also supposed to have a duel. And Nari's first design showed so much skin omg.

Luukku 8: Hahmot joita et tuu koskaan näkemään osa 1

Sukelsin tänään ikivanhoihin luonnoksiini ja bongasin sieltä hahmoja, joita suunnittelin sarjakuvaan, mutta jossain vaiheessa ne tuli leikatuksi syystä tai toisesta. Tää tyyppi Red oli yks niistä. Sen piti olla Benjin ja muun jengin kanssa, mutta kun tarina kehittyi ja muuttui, Red jäi turhaksi. Eipä sillä ollut oikein mitään persoonaa tai hahmoarkkia. Sen hahmo oli olla punanen ja heittää pommeja.

Day 8: Characters that you will never see part 1

Today i dived in my super old sketches and found a lot of characters that at some point had a part in the comic, but for one reason or another, got cut out. This fool Red is one of them. He was supposed to be part of Benji's gang, but when the story developed and changed, Red had no use in it. He didn't have much personality or character arc anyway. His whole character was to be red and throw bombs.

Tai siis ei mulla oikeesti oo referenssei käytössä. Katon vaa edelliseltä sivulta miten oon hahmon piirtänyt. Spillenan hahmo on melko vanha myös, vaikka se on ollut sarjakuvassa vähän esillä (toistaiseksi)! Ihme tyyppi. 🌙🌙🌙

Or I mean I never really use references for anyone. I just look at the previous pages how I've drawn the characters. Spillena as a character is quite old, even if she's not really been in the comic (so far)! Weird gal.

Luukku 3: Ekan luvun luonnoksia Nyt oli todella blast from the past. Nämä luonnokset on tehty 2013 eli 11 vuotta sitten. Itse sarjakuva alkoi 2014, kymmenen vuotta sitten. Aika lentää kyllä. Tää kohtaus on ensimmäisestä luvusta, kun Benji jelppaa Rinkeliä kiusaajia vastaan. On kyllä unhinged kirjottamista koko paska. Benji: Oho! Te kaksi apinaa olettekin aikaisin liikkeellä! Ei se mitään, onneks mäkin oon. Kakara 1: Hevosenkenkämies! Benji: Yritättekö te enää noiden lempinimien kanssa? "Musta surmakin" oli parempi! Kakara 2: Lapsilla on rajaton mielikuvitus. Kakara 1: Paitsi meillä. Kakara 1: Ootko sä syönyt tänää porkkanoita? Benji: Mähän oon neuvonut sua monta kertaa potkasemaan kasseille, jos noi alkaa aukomaan päätään. Sullahan on ihan normit jalat. Rinkeli: Emmuistanut. 🌙🌙🌙 Day 3: Sketches from the first chapter Truly a blast from the past. These sketches are from 2013 which was 11 years ago. My comic started 2014, ten years ago. Time truly flies. This scene is from the first chapter, when Benji helps Pretzel deal with some bullies. The writing is really something to be proud of.

Benji: Oh! You two monkeys are up early! That's ok, 'cause so am I. Brat 1: Horseshoe man! Benji: Are you even trying with those nicknames anymore? "Black plague" was way better! Brat 2: Kids have endless imagination. Brat 1: Except for us. Brat 1: Did you eat carrots today? Benji: I've told you many times to kick them in the nuts if they start barking at you. Your legs work normal, don't they? Pretzel: I forgot.
