Day 11: #Tokyo, #Japan For my last meal in Japan, I went to check out #RamenStreet in Tokyo Station, where futuristic vending machines pop out steaming bowls of ramen. Well, not directly, but you get what I mean. I chose tsukemen, the dipping kind - good, but overall I'd have to say NYC/LA is pretty on top of their Japanese food game with St. Mark's. Day 9: #Kyoto, #Japan Visited the most gorgeous bamboo forest in #Arashiyama and walked to the sound of #bamboo sticks rustling in the wind, something I could listen to forever. Day 5: #Boracay, #Philippines Filipino food post!! Something that really stands out to me here in the Philippines is the sheer amount of rice consumed during every meal. We've been to several restaurants where unlimited rice balls are served on the side of a bbq chicken platter, and a server like this awesome one at Mang Inasal at D Mall, comes over to provide you with unlimited rice ("Unli Rice") using her little scooper majig. I'm not sure why i'm so fascinated by this, but I am. :) Leaving the Philippines tomorrow looking like a little rice ball. #chloes11happydays (at Mang Inasal - D Mall, Boracay)
