Flyboarding

Hey eveyone today i am going to talk about flyboarding and how i ended up getting started. Are you ready for this one?

So me, growing up,i was always into these things call outside activities, lol, such as water sports. My friends and i always eneded up doing something like, boating, jet skiing, surfing, wakebaording and yes we did attempt snowmobiling across water in July!! That did work out extremely well, until two good friends desided to ride double. Your guess is as good as mine?? They made it about four hundred feet of shore until the snowmobile started to sink. Everyone was ok but the snowmobile did sink to the bottom. We did recover the snowmobile but that was the last of its days doing that.

One day online browsing around i came across something new called a Flyboard, that a gentlemen Frank Zapata was doing in France. Once I saw this, I was like no way, this is going to be amazing and literally take the world by surprise.

I reached out to Franky Zapata to see how to get involved in flyboards. I received an email saying that i need to do training for the use of this flyboard. I said ok lets do it. Shortly later on that day he reply back asking me to reach out to a company in California for training. At this time there was no other places that offer the training because this was such a new sport. I went to set up my appointment with Paul from Aquatic Aviation and he asked me if i could wait a few maybe i can do my training with Ben in Pensacola Florida. I was like ok sure plus its a little closer for me. By now its a run around but hey whatever nothing is easy, I knew this would be worth it. Shortly after setting up the training class i decided to drive down to meet the team.. They were such an amazing group of people. Must have had something to do with the ocean I swear.

I listed a picture above to show you the first day of training for me. Please have a chuckle or two I did. So after the class's were over I purchased the flyboard right there. This was such a awesome feeling I had. I knew when I get home we are going to blow the pants off people. Here is another picture down below of us getting set up back at home on our lake. The look on everyone face was priceless and poor Mamma Corey was probably saying what the heck is going on, but she was happy it wasn’t another snow mobile out there. Little did she no we were about to change the lake forever. People crowded around for days while we all took on this new sport here in Connecticut. My family, friends and I shard this adventure with so many people it has been amazing the past few years. Please come join us as we take on another epic season at CT Flyboard.
