Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, is an ape-like creature that calls the forests of North America home. Sasquatch is mainly seen throughout the American Pacific Northwest and up into Canada, though there seem to be other continental variations of the creature. 

Bigfoot is a large, hairy, ape-like creature that stands at approximately 6-15 feet (1.8-4.6 m) tall. Bigfoot’s fur is generally described as either dark brown or black; many reports include Bigfoot’s putrid smell. 

The Patterson-Gimlin film is arguably the most famous Bigfoot sighting. If you’ve seen a picture of Bigfoot, it’s probably from the Patterson-Gimlin film. The film was created back in 1967 in northern California. Ever since the filming in Bluff Creek, California, many people have attempted to either prove or disprove the film’s authenticity.
