I am new to hockey and BRAND NEW to tarot reading so please take everything on this page with a huge grain of salt.

I am in my 30s and live in the US. Big fan of the San Jose Sharks and lightly follow a few other teams.

Mostly, I wanted to start posting here because I am new and want feedback. I would love to HIGHLY ENCOURAGE any other Tarot readers who would like to repost with their own interpretations of my spreads to please do so. I love seeing other people’s interpretations. It teaches me a lot.

I’m not going take any personal asks at this time because I am so new I don’t trust my interpretations of the cards yet and would not want to give anyone a false reading.

So my birthday is coming up in a few days. ♊️

I am taking the next two day to spend time with my friends and family to celebrate so I won’t be doing any readings. I’ll still be around so if anything crazy happens feel free to chirp at me and I’ll chime in.

On Tuesday or Wednesday I want to do a few readings. I have two planned.

I think some people don’t understand how much they live in a bubble in San Jose. They’re “in season”. It’s a totally deferent lifestyle. In the summer time they’re with their friends and family. It’s a completely different dynamic.

For the sake of argument let’s throw out any romantic feelings that may exist (I think they’re there whether acknowledged or not but..) When you have someone in your life as close and important to you as these two clearly are to each other, you want that person to be liked by your friends and family.

The off season is around 3-4 months long. We know these two codependent clowns (lovingly) don’t want to spend that much time apart. But if your people don’t like him and his people don’t like you… that would suck.

I feel like this is the first summer where that dynamic is being tested. If Boston didn’t go well, it seems like there were some bumps, I would imagine that’s very nerve wracking for the boys.

I haven’t looked at those readings since they were posted but that’s the gist of what I remember. You can check out the master list on their page to read them.

I did a reading on my own this morning for how Mack was feeling about possibly seeing Will for his birthday.

It basically said he really wanted to see Will but was waiting for Will to say something about it. The cards were actually encouraging Mack to reach out. Lol.

If he was siting in front of me and I was doing the reading for him I would have told him that he should really reach out. Will wants to go but is very up in his head about it. He needs Mack to basically ask him to come.

I pulled 2 of Pens and Lovers as clarifiers for that reading.

Page of Pens: Will is trying to be optimistic about seeing Mack again.

6 of Swords: He’s consciously walking away from whatever their fight was. He doesn’t want to be stuck in a loop about it.

5 of Swords: He knows there is still stuff to be worked out but he’s choosing not to fight about it now.

The Moon Rx: He’s letting go of the fear and frustration he had before.

5 of Cups + 3 of Swords + 6 of cups: Will is disappointed with how Boston turned out. He’s trying to heal the wounds they inflicted on each other and get back to the childlike joy they had before.

10 of Wands Rx + 10 of Cups Rx: Mack is burnt out and unhappy. (didn’t need the cards to know that.)

Knight of Cups: Mack is ready to make amends or reconnect with Will.

I think there are two ways you can interpret the bottom row. I’ll write them both out and you can decide.

One-

Ace of Wands: I get this card in almost every spread I do on how Mack views or feels about Will. If you zoom in the the bottom of the card you can read the meanings and decide for yourself which one you think fits here.

8 of Pens: This is the hard work card. I think Mack is a bit of a workaholic and this might be about wanting to train with Will and get back to how their relationship feels on the ice. Connected, working together, basically on the same wavelength again.

The Tower Rx: Mack is still thinking about how their last meetup ended. He’s worried that this one will end badly too.

I have been practicing readings with another new tarot reader and we did a reading on “How does Mack/Will feel about seeing the other one again?”

I want to post the readings I just got bogged down in shit today from the moment I opened my eyes. Lol.

I only post the ones you see cause I didn’t think you guys would care about anything else I read about. They’re mostly personal readings for myself or people I know in my real life.

WILL:

6 of Cups + Queen of Pens: (Oh Smitty. 😔 He really thinks of Mack as his little chick. It’s adorable.) He felt like a mama chick watching his little baby leave to go do this super important thing that was going to be important for his career.

MACK:

3 of Pens: I think Will and Mack were trying to work on their relationship outside of hockey. They wanted to try and incorporate each other into their personal lives and their family and friend groups.

The Moon + Page of Swords Rx: At its fundamental level, this is secrets being revealed, and thoughts being expressed for the first time.

I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again. I think Will and Mack live a very different life in San Jose during the season than they do in the summer.

They’ve only really spent time with each other for two years, which is maybe a maximum of three summers including this one, where they get to see each other not in the hockey world.

I think thoughts were expressed for the first time and things that they had been holding in came out and they saw each other in a different light, both good and bad.

The World Rx: It’s funny I’ve gone back-and-forth with some other readers about “The World” card and how it can be a bunch of different things, but I think in the Boston readings, it literally means “the IIHF world championships”. It is just funny to me how the cards sometimes read in a very literal way.

4 of Cups + 10 of Wands + 3 of Cups: Mack was obviously very aware of Worlds and did not want to go. He knew he was exhausted and overburdened and really needed a break. He also knew the team really wanted him. Several people have speculated on whether or not hockey Canada offered him the captain role to come play this year.

King of Pens Rx: a father figure in his life basically pressured him to go, talking about how it would be great for his career. Obviously, this could be Rick, but it could also be his agent or somebody else in his life.

5 of Cups Rx: Even though he didn’t want to go, he committed to his decision to show up and really tried to go in with the best mindset he could and leave Will and whatever happened in Boston behind.

I think whatever Sid needed to learn in his previous lives he learned and he’s starting a new adventure this time around.

7 of Pens Rx + 2 of Cups Rx: he feels like his efforts in past lives have not paid off, possibly because of some toxic relationship, either professional or romantic.

4 or Pens + 4 of Cups + 9 of Wands Rx: he was very obsessed with money which made him unhappy and defensive.

5 of Cups Rx: he’s putting all of those feelings behind him and move on to something new and fresh in this life.
