Love is like a stubborn youth

Decided to sit down, state down some random rumbles.

Have I been rushing my life? Perhaps.

Feeling horribly exhausted recently, no matter how much I rest, I still feel tired - and in the past 3 months, I’ve learnt that the world is indeed an ugly place. 

The worst I’ve come across are people who don’t respect women (undermine, belittle...the list of words go on) and pushes your confidence level down. 

Not sure if it is a bad habit, but I tend to think twice when someone is being nice to me - “I’m pretty sure he/she wants something out of me”- It’s hard to tell if someone is being genuine nowadays. 

Besides the daily mundane events and some hiccups along the way, I’ve managed to find bright spots among the ugly. And, I thank god for that. 

I know that the road is going to be bumpy ahead and the tough months are going to arrive - fingers crossed for the next few months. Gotta have faith now Gladys!
