OK SORRY NOT TO BLAST YOU BUT I’VE HAD A FEW PEOPLE SAY SIMILAR STUFF TO ME OVER THIS AND I KIND OF WANNA CLARIFY

1- you’re free to your opinion but Tenna is miserable in castle town, and he is still tearing himself apart to appeal to others, those people are just other darkeners now. Tenna does have issues with seeing himself as an object, but I think people think of him as like. Having the exact same problems as Ralsei, which I don’t think he does. Ralsei sees himself as an object who shouldn’t have feelings - Tenna sees himself as the lighteners *family*, he loves them at lot, that’s his problem with the Dreemurrs because that is not how they see him at all. Mettaton clearly has some objectum shit happening and so is a good fit.

2- castle town has a Dark Fountain Within it that’s *running all the time*, that’s how Tenna is able to exist in there. In the Dreemurrs house he is his own world, there’s no dark fountain to bring him form, he is reliant on electricity. The way Tenna talks about being unplugged has a lot of repeat emphasis on being “all alone”.
