I still haven't seen all of Satoshi Kon's feature films, but my favorite so far is Perfect Blue. I'm due for a Paranoia Agent rewatch, too, 'cause I really enjoyed it the first time around -- there's an episode that lives rent-free in my head I'd like to dissect and learn from.
& I LOVE his work on the Stardust Crusader OVAs!! The last episodes from the original 90s series are some of my favorite things in animation, period, and finding out he directed one of them wasn't all that surprising -- his artistic touch comes through pretty strongly there, too.
