*(For ppl who don't know the pixar theory it is the idea that all pixar films fit on the same timeline)

So... tbh idk if I've chatted about all my aus here yet but the start of the timeline is a gods x follower au... (of holy days and prophetic nights) where Solarus and Lunarus minor gods of the sun and moon and the day and night betray an oath of impartiality and maybe celibacy??? Or at least a duty to not fall in love, when they grow very fond of y/n one of their loyal followers. Eclipse an Archangel is put incharge of their exile from the godly plane and punishment. After the temple is destroyed, their people drowned and their lover killed they are thrown into a never ending cure of rebirth only to fall in love with y/n and lose them (in frankly horrible ways :/) over and over and over again.

Then here is room for historical reincarnation short stories... idk seems fun but I've yet to do any.

Next proper AU is my 70-80's Fall fest AU (of festive days and fall nights) where Solarus and Lunarus are reincarnated as human twins and they both fall for Y/N once again, but spoilers- are murdered by a robot and their souls trapped within the metal.

My fibish au sits somewhere here in modern times, the mer creatures are descendants of the temple and island dwellers who worshipped Solarus and Lunarus. The gods are not present in this story and this is not the same Y/N but it sits in this timeline nonetheless.

After years (more like decades) in storage the robot is unpacked and brought to the Mega Pizza Plex where they eventually become the daycare attendant in my fic Of Sunny Days and Moonlit Nights. Y/N dies naturally this time and... the DCA goes into storage when the pizza plex files for bankruptcy and closes down ^^;

After more decades in storage they are sold to a school in the dystopian future in my teacher au fic Of Playful Days and Silent Nights...

Now a disaster strikes and a nuclear explosion causes a fall out that starts the post apocalypse au Of scorching days where the next Y/N finds a half destroyed salvaged DCA that they try fix him up.

There ends the Of Days and Nights era. And the curse is semi broken they've payed their penance and earned favour they no longer have to suffer the memories and the loss. Their souls are eventually free But they choose to continue their reincarnation and being a robot so long their soul has bonded to that vessel so from now on they will continue to take that form.

Now humanity trying to boost the dwindling population artificially turn to the technology of old as they build civilisation and history from the beginning. They take research found in 'ancient' laboratories and on the old Internet and start to build living robots that Solarus and Lunarus and now Eclipse will often take the form of.

The people incharge of this try to make robots more alive and part of that is an experiment on animals to see how the workings of a robot might integrate into living creatures, this is where My Cyborg Centaur AU fits in. (They definitely don't find old documents from fazbears, Willams and Murray's personal research and try to build from that... definitely not) they eventually instead find that creating robots that can experience childhood the same as humans tend to be more advanced and human like.

Despite still having scraps of technical advancements history still reverts back a few steps through history and...

The Soilder, Poet, King au is next. History repeats when groups of people split across the earth in different groups forming kingdoms but with robots staring to be intergrated into the population as man power and to increase numbers. Advancements halt but the Robots are decently alive at this point.

Next is the Mob AU (What Doesn't kill you makes you bitter), after a war between humans and Robots landing in a stalemate and compromise with neither side happy mob violence and organised crime is at an all time high.

Next is a the long dark AU. Sun, Moon and Eclipse. Advancements continue and go even further here.

Rockstar AU is peak back to modernish part of the timeline with the whole history repeating. (Probably more 2010-16s ish tbh) robots are as advanced as can be and they and humans are as equal as they've ever been and all is good and fun and happy.

The chef au can be added in the future of the timeline when parallel universe and time travel have been figured out if you wanna tag it on.

to be clear, I believe younger artists and minors can write good fics (not to say “fanfic must always be good” either because it is a hobby and I still believe that as long as it’s done with love and the artist’s joy, it is good) and I believe it’s good when younger artists and minors start making art at young ages.

that said, a lot of fanfics out there that you read and love are done by adults with kids, jobs and responsibilities. adults who have years, decades of practice under their belts. adults who don’t let life and responsibilities take away their joy in creating.

It's common enough that young black kids are told to keep any identifying information on them at all times just in case someone reports a black kid breaking and entering by walking into the house they've lived at since they were born. Because that has happened.

When you add mental illness and the healthcare industry into the mix, things only get worse from there. To be clear, you don't need to be black or mentally ill to be treated poorly by a doctor or nurse that's decided they know you better than you do. But it sure doesn't make things easier.

And people have died as a result- or have we already forgotten the death of Adriana Smith who went to THE HOSPITAL SHE WORKED AT AS A NURSE reporting severe headaches and was dismissed as exaggerating and imagining the severity, only to be declared brain dead upon arrival less than 24 hours later and artificially kept alive to force her dead body to carry her baby to term- which couldn't even happen and they had to remove him via C-section anyway.

this and also the only difference between fanfic writers and writers who sell their own original works as careers is that fanfics aren’t monetized. that’s all.

being a “professional” writer doesn’t mean your works are inherently better than fanfics. I’ve read so many fics that are more professionally written than some published books.

Guess what, folks! It's summer! And it's gonna be a hot one, because they all are, recently :(

Did you know you can lose about a liter of water, a gram of sodium, and 300mg potassium in an hour of profuse sweating? If you're working outside in the heat, or even just existing in a very hot and humid environment, you're gonna want to replace the electrolytes you're losing, and you're gonna have to be purposeful about it.

But electrolyte drink mixes, while convenient, are surprisingly expensive for what they are. So I'm going to give you a top secret recipe that you can whip up for literal pennies that will replace what you're losing in sweat.

1 liter of water

1/2 tsp table salt (about 1g of sodium)

1/8 tsp potassium chloride salt substitute (about 350mg potassium. NuSalt is a popular brand, it's sold near the salt at the grocery store. If you don't have this, replace 6oz (180ml) of the water with orange juice or eat something high in potassium, like a banana, each hour you're sweating)

6-8 tsp of granulated sugar (you do actually need this and not a no calorie alternative- sugar helps speed up the absorption of electrolytes in the gut. You can omit if using orange juice for your potassium source, though!)

Lemon or lime juice for flavor, optional

Mix together and drink 1 liter for each hour you're profusely sweating. Adjust your intake so that your pee is light yellow.

If you want to make this mix ahead of time, put 1x the recipe of salt, sugar, and potassium, along with unsweetened Kool Aid powder or crystalized lemon or lime juice, in a small baggie. I do not recommend putting multiple servings worth in a baggie, as the ingredients settle differently and you might not get the right ratio.

NOTE: like any electrolyte drink, it works better if you sip it instead of chugging. If you chug it, you end up pooping out a lot of your electrolytes, even with the sugar.

we write for free. whenever we can. whenever we have time. whenever we’re not too exhausted by life and responsibilities. we write for our own enjoyment. as a hobby. not a job. we update whenever we can. whenever we want. we do not owe anybody anything.

one of my favorite fics was updated after literal 13 years. but the point is that fanfic writers do not owe you anything. whether a fic was abandoned forever or updated after a decade or two is not something you as a stranger has a say in.

stop being entitled. stop treating fanfic writer as a content farm or a machine that produces contents for your enjoyment.
