i really didnt want to be a lifetime student in the sense of living and breathing academia but i guess i became one anyway. ive been a student traditionally and nontraditionally since preschool and ill be hitting 40 very soon.

i was once good at math. i can be good again. i wont let having to do math scare me. because i have the capability. i just had terrible teachers that made math a nuisance. but i got As and Bs up to calc and trig.

that movie i watched and i knew within the first 5 seconds that a body was in the suitcase (based on how the characters were acting and how the camera focused on the suitcase) but then the realization just got worse and worse the closer i got to the movie's end like no. no. not THIS character. and then the movie had the nerve to keep playing for another 10-20 minutes after you realize.

someone who graduated 3 cohorts after mine just got a Product Manager role at JPMC with only a BS degree and the bootcamp. Man, those Indians really band together and take care of their ppls. The Ghanaian man who has umpteenth years in healthcare and was the strongest in our cohort just got ghosted by JPMC for an entry level software engineer role (AFTER accepting an offer which is more devastating).

i dont wanna but i may get my masters. it would be accelerated because the work at the bootcamp will go towards my credits. if the math is mathing, i'll consider it. a debt free masters at a sped-up pace? considering.

trying to work with my brain to keep me motivated. i get sick of working on the same project for longer than 2-3 days. it's time to switch to another one or do a module in a course. when i start to stall and procrastinate that is the real issue.

once someone from high school came across my first tumblr i have no idea how he found it (we have a common friend who told him i guess) and he prob got spooked because i was really into bowie's many looks and videos back then--studying them--so there were lots of pics. lots.

really gotta have a guy who can make a quip, be witty, can turn a phrase. that really is the key to whatever keeps my interest. i don't like when someone's slow to "get" something or i have to explain things. most of the boys i had a crush on always had something smart aleck-y and a quick retort to any situation. the smart-ass with glasses had my heart.
