Like, idk, you can hate her for a lot of reasons, like yknow blowing up planets, killing aliens, killing three etc

But like I've seen so many people go i hate her because she's sooooo unreasonably violent but also she isnt even a good villain shes so useless she doesn't have any motive for any of her emotions or actions and im just sitting here like. Sorry one more thing i think jnj kind of wrote themselves into a corner by implying all the algebraliens are genderless (although people don't seem to also consider the possibility that four is unreliable or that gender can be chosen even if it is not assigned) because regardless of whether or not they are all really genderless, people are very misogynistic in their opinions towards one. They just are. Especially wrt the strength of her emotions dictating what she does, they treat her own messy feelings as less valid than four's. Like instead of considering why shes so emotionally charged towards the objects and her algebraliens people just call her a wacky 🤪 bitch🤪 and assume she's exaggerating and overplaying and being too dramatic about her feelings which is like misogyny 101. I dont know what the solution to this is because it's asking people to not be misogynistic which is apparently a herculean task. But. Idk. Something to consider i guess

The thing about the game is that it's actually not a bad idea. The problem is Fan is on the wrong side of things... he should be competing in the game not moderating it... he needs the help he believes playing the game provides,

As much as I appreciate a lot of changes in the II season 1 remaster, there are some things that were like, horrible for a character to say that I wish was kept in Because it was so shitty. A lot of ableist comments from OJ were removed for example, one that comes to mind is him saying he "feels like he's in a mental hospital" because of Bomby and Paper. IT'S AN AWFUL THING TO SAY!!!!! But I want it to be kept in because I want it to actually be talked about Later when INEVITABLY PAPER'S PLURALITY COMES UP AGAIN IN SEASON 4. Also I wish they didn't change the length of Bomb's stuttering. I am plural and have a minor stutter that gets woese with flare ups, and that can feel like pulling teeth that can makes other people annoyed, so it is disappointing that they kept ONE aspect of my identity in (Paper's plurality) without watering it down (Looseleaf being a persecuter and like, being a danger to the body and others) but changed it to be more accurate, but neutered ANOTHER aspect of my identity (Bomb's stuttering) and didn't care half as much about addressing the ways in which characters like Pickle blame Bomb for something he can't control. I don't know... just awfully disappointing.

#this is a thing I’ve been struggling with in relation to the remaster #it’s part of why I don’t really want to watch it #even in relation to how they changed Evil Paper #On the one hand I understand why they are hesitant to keep certain aspects of the original in #especially considering the target audience of the remaster and the express goal of making the show more approachable #but…#On the other hand I feel that the general lack of delicacy and emotional intelligence most of the S1 cast had was a strength of the season #Not because what they espoused was okay but because it becomes things they have to address and work on in future seasons #And because in some regard it makes sense for the characters to be like that considering the situation MePhone is coming from #Anything I hear about OJ especially tends to disappoint me #I’m sure the remaster works for some people but I suppose it isn’t for me

I’ve been thinking this since yesterday, but Test Tube sitting down immediately in this scene used to confuse me (as cute as it is), but now I like to think the reason she did that was because she wanted to just sit down and hang out with Cabby for a while, rather than just… apologise and leave immediately. It’s cute, it makes sense, and I think it better conveys her sincerity if I think of it this way,
