u shouldnt say the n word if ur not black.. its the same concept as saying faggot when ur not gay. theyre both rly offensive words when social power structures come into play and generally not a good idea even if u dont "mean harm" or are quoting someone or not saying it directly at a person. and its not that people "choose to be offended", its that those slurs have been used in the past to demean and dehumanize ppl and downplaying their emotions is erasure and contributes to the problem..
i know what slurs are. just words. they don’t kill - people with guns do. to try and stop them you first gotta open your eyes and man the fuck up
