I'm honestly gonna stop posting umamusume content for a while. i may post the odd art here and there or, in the future, post the fanfiction ideas i have but i won't go out of my way to try and interact with the community on any platforms. (not that i do that much on tumblr anyways) the bwaaas will continue once theres enough new umas/costumes to draw (like 7-10)

ive just grown exhausted with the way p*dos are comfortable in the community and the way they get defended and justified. seeing someone call this series the "s*xualising minors factory" the other day made me genuinely sick to my stomach. not only because umamusume is definitely not that (sure, there's odd things cygames does but its not a Certain Other Game) but also because that is just gross in general. people are allowed to criticise how things are portrayed in media and a minor being fictional does not remove any judgement that will come your way nor will it ever justify the way children are portrayed in a lot of media. ive ranted enough about that in other things so I'll leave it at that.

uma musume has helped me a lot but the damage the community has done has reversed any positivity ive gained from this series
