I write imagines having to do with Criminal Minds. If you like what I write and want a certain imagine written than send in a request! REQUESTS: Open :)
Prompt: You and Reid share a small late night talk before falling asleep together.
A/N: this one is short and sweet :)
DISCLAIMER: I used to write on a shared multi-fandom imagines blog and I wrote several Criminal Minds imagines that I wanted to bring onto my own Criminal Minds blog. This imagine is my own and it was written by me even though it was first posted to a different blog. I hope you enjoy :)
You just laid there, your head on Reidâs chest while your brain wheels turned slowly, preparing to shut down for the night.
âYou still awake?â Spencer asked, his voice vibrating around in his chest as he spoke. You responded by simply nodding your head. âI had a feeling you were.â he slightly chuckled causing your head to rise and fall with each little laugh.
âWhat are you thinking about?â you asked, knowing Spencerâs brain never really stopped thinking. Even when he was half asleep he had his mind going around and around, circling theories and questioning facts.
âSocial Darwinism.â he responded blankly. You shifted your head up so you could look at him just in time to see him glance down at you.
âWhat about it?â you asked, half wanting an answer, half not.
âHow the human race is getting taller and taller due to the belief that those who are tall are more attractive and successful than those who are short.â he explained in a calm voice. He liked explaining things to you. You were the only person he had ever met that shared both his intellect and overall interest. You both found the same things research worthy and debate worthy which for him made you even more of a diamond in his eyes.
âInteresting.â you smiled before snuggling your head into his neck once again, feeling his arm tighten around you.
âWhat are you thinking about?â he asked after a moment of silence filling the air.
âWinnie the Pooh.â you responded just as blankly as he had done to you.
âWhat about Winnie the Pooh?â he asked, a small bit of laughter filling his voice at the innocents of your response.
âA quote, promise me youâll never forget me. Ever. Not even when Iâm a hundred.â you spoke, recalling the small sentence from your childhood. âI love that quote.â you spoke in a small whisper, a smile coming onto your face as you let your eyes relax closed.
âI love you.â you heard spencer whisper right before you drifted off, knowing you would wake up next to him in the morning, your bodies still in the same positions, your minds still in the same place.

Prompt: Youâre an FBI agent and you have to work with the BAU which seems to be fine until you have to prove yourself to Reid that you arenât the âtypicalâ FBI agent.
DISCLAIMER: I used to write on a shared multi-fandom imagines blog and I wrote several Criminal Minds imagines that I wanted to bring onto my own Criminal Minds blog. This imagine is my own and it was written by me even though it was first posted to a different blog. I hope you enjoy :)
âWhy are we working with the FBI? Theyâre just a bunch of pencil pushers and knuckleheads.â Reid groaned from his seat at his desk in the BAU office.
âWoah, someone has something against the big guys.â Morgan chuckled, surprised to hear those types of words coming from Reidâs mouth. The boy was like a walking dictionary, rarely was his vocabulary minimized to âknuckleheadsâ.
âThe big guys are asses who believe that because they have the badge and gun they can do anything they want.â Reid spat once again.
âDid you have some childhood bully who became an FBI agent or something?â Penelope asked, showing concern for Reidâs obvious disdain for FBI agents.
âNo, I just donât like them.â he huffed. Suddenly the elevator doors slid open and out walked you and your partner. You both made your way down the steps and into the office area in silence, only cracking a small smile when you first shook the hand of Derek Morgan.
âIâm agent (Y/L/N) and this is my partner agent Lansling.â you introduced.
âNice to meet you, Iâm Derek Morgan, that right there is Miss. Penelope Garcia, and the one at his desk with the pouting face is Dr. Spencer Reid.â Morgan introduced, pointing to each person as he said their name.
âNice to meet you all, we both look forward to working with you.â your partner smiled. You however wasnât paying any attention to what your partner was saying, your eyes were locked onto the âpouting faceâ of Dr. Spencer Reid, a name you had heard before but never known the face of. When you had heard of him you expected an older person, but he seemed to be around your age.
âIs something wrong with him?â you asked after a moment of everyone standing in silence. Morgan turned and looked at who you were looking at before chuckling.
âNo, he just doesnât like the big guns much, thinks you are all knuckleheads.â Morgan explained. You had heard it all before. People thought that FBI hid behind their guns and that they were all just the meat heads that the government sent out when they needed some criminal to be brought in dead or alive. But you were different, and now you were determined to prove that you were.
âAsk me a question.â you spoke up, walking over to Reidâs desk after a moment of thinking to yourself.
âWhat?â Reid asked, confused by your demand.
âI love when she does this.â you heard your partner chuckle from behind you.
âCome on boy genius, ask me anything, sports, science, math, history, art, anything you want.â you said, crossing your arms and looking at Reid with a small smile on your face.
âWho won the Super Bowl in 1994?â you heard Derek ask from behind you.
âDallas Cowboys won 30 to 13 against the Buffalo Bills. MVP was Emmitt Smith, the running back.â you said, turning slightly so you could see Morganâs eyebrows raise.
âHow many people are put to death only to be proven innocent after their execution?â Reid asked. To him sports were something that anyone could remember if they wanted to, some would even say it was fun to remember who won what. So he decided to ask you a harder question than what Derek had come up with.
â4% in the U.S.â you responded quickly. You saw his eyebrows raise and you had known that you had proved him wrong. âAm I still a knucklehead?â you questioned. You watched Reidâs jaw clench and release as he looked you up and down.
âNo.â he responded blankly, not wanting to give you the satisfaction of being dumbfounded. But you knew what your intellectual level did to him. It wasnât simply impressive in his mind, it was attractive.
Request: Hey chickadee!! I was wondering if I could get a Morgan x reader imagine?? Where itâs been a really tough case and the reader decides to take a nap and when she awakes she pretends sheâs still asleep and everyone is giving Derek advice on how to ask you out and how itâs so obvious he likes you and heâs blushing and everything and then when your eyes are still closed you say âFor gods sakes Derek pick me up at 8!â Or something and then fluff? And Garcia wants you two together?
DISCLAIMER: I used to write on a shared multi-fandom imagines blog and I wrote several Criminal Minds imagines that I wanted to bring onto my own Criminal Minds blog. This imagine is my own and it was written by me even though it was first posted to a different blog. I hope you enjoy :)
âStatistically you have a very high chance in her saying yes.â you heard Reidâs voice speak as your brain slowly awoke from your nap, your eyes still shut and your body still unmoved since you first laid down an hour ago.
You and everyone else were at a dead end, the case of the two women murdered and one missing was going cold and the clock was running out of time, so you had taken a nap in hopes of having a fresh perspective when you awoke. However rather than a fresh perspective now you had curiousity running through your mind. The only four in the room were you, Penelope, Spencer, and Derek who had all been camped out there for the past two days. You knew Reid was most likely talking to Derek but about what you werenât sure.
âYeah, and what makes my chances so statistically high boy genius?â Derekâs deep voice asked.
âSheâs dated men who are very similar to you personality and looks wise in the past and you appeal to her much more than anyone else in the office.â Reid explained. You suddenly knew what they were talking about. They were talking about you.
âAlso itâs so obvious you like her and she flirts back.â you heard Penelope chime in. âAnd I really want you two to become a thing because you would make beautiful angelic faced children and since sheâs my roommate I would be able to hear about everything and then proceed to live vicariously through her with every juicy detail.â she spoke in a long and strung out sentence, almost gasping for air afterwards. There was only silence which meant that Derek and Reid were giving Penelope one of their classic âwhat?â looks. âWhat? Canât blame a girl for wanting to know everything about a relationship.â
âI havenât even asked her out yet, there is no relationship.â Derek defended in hopes of calming Penelopeâs vast imagination.
âThen ask her out and make it a relationship.â Penelope said eagerly.
âItâs strange, for such a masculine person why do you fear asking out (Y/N) so much?â Reid asked, now his own gears spinning as he thought of what a relationship between you and Derek would be like.
âBecause, (Y/N) is a beautiful, intelligent, sweet, and amazing person. If I mess up with her I lose her and losing her would be so much worse than staying friends forever with her.â Derek sighed, his voice low. You couldnât hear everything anymore. You sat up and rubbed your eyes as if you had just awoken before stretching out your legs and standing up.
âHow was your nap sleeping beauty?â Penelope asked, forcing her eyes off of Derek who was looking down at a pile of papers, slightly embarrassed by his sensitive side coming out and showing to Penelope and Reid.
âGood.â you smiled before walking over to Derek. You put your hand on his shoulder and leaned in, giving him a soft kiss on the cheek. âPick me up at 8.â you whispered in his ear before turning around and walking over to your paper covered desk. You ignored Penelope and Reid looking at you, Reid with his mouth dropped open and Penelope with a large smile on her face.

Imagine you being the prime suspect in a case that the BAU is handling and Doctor Spencer Reid has to interrogate you. After the interrogation he realizes that you are guilty however he steers the BAU away from you as a suspect because he canât help but be infatuated with you.
A/N: I donât think I worded this well but I hope you guys understand it!
Prompt: Youâre a suspect in a recent murder case that the BAU gets hit with, however when Spencer Reid interrogates you he sees something different in you and has your name scratched off the suspect list.
DISCLAIMER: I used to write on a shared multi-fandom imagines blog and I wrote several Criminal Minds imagines that I wanted to bring onto my own Criminal Minds blog. This imagine is my own and it was written by me even though it was first posted to a different blog. I hope you enjoy :)
â(Y/N) (Y/L/N)?â a voice asked from behind you in the small room. You were sitting on a cold, hard, chair in front of a cold, hard, desk and you had been for the past three hours.
âThatâs me.â you said turning your head to see who had spoken your name. When you caught an eye of the boy standing in the doorway you were surprised. He was only a few years older than you if not the same age and he had curly brown hair cut short.
âHello, my name is Doctor Spencer Reid.â he stuttered slightly after a moment of looking at you. He looked down at the floor and walked over to the chair that sat across from yours. He sat down and cleared his throat before looking up at you. âDo you know why youâre here?â
âThey say I killed my cousin right?â you asked, your eyes not falling from the BAU agent that sat across from you.
âYes.â he nodded. âThey found your DNA at the crime scene along with a finger print.â
âSounds like theyâre already pretty sure I did it.â you chuckled. The two of you looked at each other for a moment in silence before you continued. âSo why am I being interrogated if you already have evidence against me?â
âBecause the BAU is in charge of finding out if a person shows the correct behavior to commit the crime that they are being charged with.â Spencer explained, his eyes locked onto yours, curiosity on his face.
âAnd do I have the behavior of a killer?â you asked leaning onto your elbows so your face was slightly closer to his.
âThatâs what Iâm trying to find out.â he responded quickly, his cheeks turning a bright pink as his eyes scanned down to your lips for a moment before returning to your eyes. âWhy would someone kill your cousin?â he asked after a moment.
âHow am I suppose to answer that?â you asked, leaning back in your chair.
âWhat do you mean?â Spencer asked back, confused by your stumping question.
âEveryones minds different, you of all people should know that. Someone couldâve had a beef with my cousin and thought that the only way it could end was if he stopped breathing. Or he couldâve just been in the wrong place at the wrong time, just a face that saw something he wasnât suppose to. Or maybe I did kill him because he stole the toy in the cereal box when we were 5 and Iâm actually psychotic and wanted revenge because I really wanted that My Little Pony.â you said breathlessly, not dropping eye contact with Spencer while you ranted. âSo I donât know why someone would kill him.â the room went into silence once again as Spencer thought of what you said. You made a valid point, something he couldnât fight, the only thing he could do was ask another question.
âWere you aware of your cousins deteriorating mental health?â he asked after his eyes skimmed the open file in front of him.
âYes, but we never talked about it.â you said quickly.
âAnd why was that?â he asked just as quickly.
âBecause, people fear what they donât understand.â you stated blankly. âMy family thought if they didnât talk about it that it wasnât happening. We knew something was wrong with him and we knew he needed help, but no one ever did anything because they didnât want it to become real.â
âIâm sorry.â Spencer said in a low voice after all your words registered in his brain. âThatâll be it, you can go home.â you nodded and stood up, exiting the room and meeting the two policemen that would escort you out just like how they escorted you in a few hours ago.
âReid, what did you get from her?â Morgan asked walking into the interrogation room.
âSheâs not the killer.â he said blankly standing up and closing the file.
âHow do you know?â Morgan asked, confusion on his face.
âBecause, she knew what her cousin was going through, she wanted to help him, not hurt him, I could see it in the way she talked about him.â he said before exiting the room leaving Morgan standing, his eyes watching as Spencer walked out. It wasnât like him to act like that, meaning something you had said stuck with him in his big brain.
Prompt: After a very stressful case you two spend a night up on the roof of your apartment building.
DISCLAIMER: I used to write on a shared multi-fandom imagines blog and I wrote several Criminal Minds imagines that I wanted to bring onto my own Criminal Minds blog. This imagine is my own and it was written by me even though it was first posted to a different blog. I hope you enjoy :)
âThe stars are so beautiful.â you said, your voice hushed. Normally the rooftop of your apartment scared you, especially at night. Your body being elevated high in the air, the sound of the busy street below you that echoed up until it surrounded your body completely. It was terrifying for you, even with your entire rough and tough agent persona. However, you felt safe tonight. This was because of the warmth you felt next to you, the warmth belonging to your boyfriend of almost a year, Spencer Reid.
âAnd they are very fascinating too.â Spencer smiled, his eyes glistening in the night from the dull moon. âThe way they are created and destroyed so quickly, the amount of energy they contain, the fact that they can support entire universes.â you could hear the excitement in his voice. Â
âI always like to think about how when you look up at the stars, itâs totally realistic to assume someones looking at you.â you spoke, your voice trailing off. A small gust of wind gently blew past you, pushing your loose hairs out of your face.
âOf course, Iâm looking at you right now.â Spencer whispered. You turned your head to be met with his beautiful eyes. You let a smile brush your face before turning your gaze back up to the stars.
âI meant someone up there silly.â you sighed, the smile still on your face as you pointed up to the night sky with your finger.
âI know.â Spencer chuckled, shifting his body so he could be closer to you. âWould you ever go up into space?â
âMaybe.â you answered letting your hand drop beside you where it met up with his own large hand. Both your fingers intertwined naturally as you slid your head so it could be right next to his. âI know you would in a heart beat.â
âYeah, I would.â he smiled. âI mean, the dangers are endless, but the experience would be priceless.â he whispered as another breeze hit the both of you.
âBut would you be willing to leave your life down here for a year?â you questioned, gripping his hand slightly tighter in wait for a response.
Imagine Matthew constantly trying to get you to laugh and break character.

Request (@salliejanee):Â hi.. i would like to make a request a spencer reid imagine with the reader about the reader having a nightmare about reid and her being kidnapped and she screams(or mumbled whatever works with the imagine you write) 'but spencer i love you' and he ends up loving her back.. please
A/N: I changed the request a little bit so that Spencer was not kidnapped with the reader, I hope you still like it though! This is a longish imagine so I put a keep reading on it even though I normally donât do that lol. Also, italics are the nightmare
It had been almost three months. Three months since you were forced to question your ability to survive. Three months since you had felt the blade of a knife cut into your skin. Three months since you had seen the man who would forever haunt your nightmareâs sick smile as you felt him in between your thighs.
You had been working a murder case with the BAU when Hotch had sent you off on your own to revisit one of the crime scenes, a house that one of the victims had been found in. He had hoped that your overly observant eyes would be able to catch something that had been missed during the multiple comb throughs of the crime scene.Â
However you never even got a chance to enter the house. The moment your feet hit the patio you felt a blunt object smash you in the back of the head, your body collapsing. When you had woken up you were tied to a chair.Â
It took four days before you were found. Four days of torture. Four days of hell. Four days of seeing the face of the man who took you. Four days of his features being seared into your brain for you to never forget.
Once you had been found you spent a week at the hospital before returning to your lonely apartment. That was when the nightmares had begun. Your brain recreated everything that happened to you almost perfectly while you slept. The sharp pain across your skin, the burning in between your legs, the aches from where his fists hit you.Â
Perhaps the most terrifying thing however was his face, as if it was like a picture every time, looking at you. His lips speaking the same sick words that made you want to vomit, his smile curling onto his face whenever you would cry out in pain. Every freckle and pore were perfectly portrayed to you while you slept, trapped in a nightmare.Â
Because of these nightmares you had ended up sleeping on various memberâs of the BAUâs sofas rather than in your own bed. For almost two months you were with Penelope before she had to give up her sofa to one of her support group members who was struggling to get back on her feet after a bad incident with an abusive ex.
Luckily Spencer had opened up his home to you the moment Penelope told you you could no longer stay with her.Â
You and him had always been close from day one of you working at the BAU. You both clicked perfectly, like two puzzle pieces (as cheesy as that might sound). You could both talk for hours and hours about anything from the smallest trivial things to the worldâs largest unanswered questions. The two of you never got tired or annoyed of each other, even when the other members of the BAU couldnât stand to listen to your voices anymore. He was perfect for you and you were perfect for him. Too bad neither of you could see it.
It was almost 1am when the nightmare began, your body slightly squirming on Spencerâs sofa as you began to hear his voice in your head.
âRise and shine (Y/N), weâve got another long day ahead of us.â he spoke in a devilish whisper, his mouth right next to your ear, his words jolting you out of the oasis of sleep you had found.Â
âFuck you.â you murmured, your eyes slowly opening and taking in the same room decor you had been seeing for two days straight.
âDonât you remember, you already have.â he smirked, his words causing your stomach to turn as you clenched your jaw. âNow, would you like to start off this beautiful morning by telling me what I want to know or do I have to keep trying to work it out of you?â he asked stepping forward so he was in your line of eyesight, his figure casting a shadow on you from the morning sun beaming in through a barred window.Â
âIâm not saying anything.â you spat. Those four words you had said more times than you could count within the past two days, every time the fire behind them growing.Â
âYou arenât saying anything, yet.â he corrected, waltzing over to a coffee table and picking up a knife, using his fingernail to crape off dried pieces of blood, your own blood. âListen, how about this. I give you two more days to answer my question before I kill you and go grab some other member of your team?â he spoke in a casual voice as if he were a parent striking up a deal with a child about doing chores.Â
âDonât you dare.â you hissed, feeling your body temperature rising at the thought of what had happened to you happening to someone else on the team.Â
âLet me think, who could I take?â he questioned stepping towards you slowly, dragging the blade of the knife on the table. âOh, Iâve got it, how about that Doctor Spencer Reid, you and him are close right?â he chuckled, knowing the feelings that name brought to you. âOh so very close.â he smiled, leaning forwards so his face was inches from yours.Â
You suddenly felt a sharp pain slash across your arm causing you to cry out in pain. You didnât dare to look at the wound, knowing that seeing the deep cut would only make you begin to hyperventilate.
âWould you like me to take him?â he questioned, loving the pain you felt. âDo you want me to tie him to this chair just like how you are right now and hurt him over and over again?â his voice raised as he slashed you once again, this time against your other arm.
âNo!â you shouted in his face, tears beginning to fall from your eyes partly from the pain but mostly from the thought of Spencer being put through what you were going through right now.
âAnd why is that?!â his asked, his voice rising even more as he cut you once again, this time over one of the other cuts on your arm creating an âXâ.
âBecause I love him!â you screamed, the pain burning your arm, tears now pouring from your eyes.
â(Y/N)! Wake up!â you heard the familiar voice of Spencer suddenly break through your nightmare, returning you abruptly to reality.Â
Your body shot up from its horizontal position as you reached for your arms, your hands delicately grazing the now scarred over tissue. Your face was wet from the tears you had been crying while you slept, your voice hoarse from what you could only assume was shouting.Â
You looked to your right to see Spencer kneeling on the space next to the sofa. His hair was a complete mess and his face was covered with concern as he watched you closely.Â
âH-he was hurting me.â you whispered, your voice shaking slightly as you let another few tears fall down your cheeks, the moonlight seemingly to highlight their presents.Â
âYouâre safe with me, he canât hurt you anymore.â Spencer hushed, placing his hand gently on your knee right below another scar that the man had left. The man that he had grown to hate more than anyone else in the world.Â
When the BAU first found you they had no idea what had happened, all they knew was that it had been four days of him doing whatever he had pleased to you. It wasnât until you were in the hospital that the doctors had informed him as well as the rest of the team about everything you had been through.Â
Three broken ribs, two broken fingers, a fractured jaw, 179 stitches, multiple rapes, burn marks, and two missing molars. Four days and that was what he had done to you. Four days of Spencer feeling the most helpless he ever had. Four days of him running off of nothing but coffee in order to find you.Â
âSpencer Iâm scared.â spoke, your voice so quiet and broken what even you could barely hear your own words. However you knew he could hear you.Â
You felt his arms wrap around you suddenly, pulling you in tightly to him, his breath warming your neck as your tears soaked into his shirt. You couldnât help but feel your heart rate jump back up for a moment. However this time rather than the cause of it being a nightmare it was due to the contact that you had been craving ever since you had first fallen in love with him.Â
âYouâre safe with me.â his voice murmured into your hair. You brought your own arms around his neck, holding him tightly in order to make sure he wouldnât let go of you. At least not yet.
However it didnât seem as if he had any intentions of letting you go as you felt him slowly push his body off of his knees. Your legs weakly wrapped around his waist as he adjusted his arms around you to better support you. He began to slowly walk towards his room, holding you close to him, kicking open the door with his foot before walking over to his warm bed.Â
He placed you down gently on the same warm spot he had been laying in several minutes before. You felt the bed dip next to you before you were encased in his arms once again. Â
âI wonât let him come anywhere near you ever again.â he whispered softly before placing a small kiss on your forehead.Â
For the first time in three months you felt safe closing your eyes and letting your body relax, his arms creating a security net around you. It wasnât long before you felt yourself beginning to drift back off into your dream state, this time without a sign of the manâs face in your mind.
All you could focus on was Spencer, his heart beating in your ear as it slowly hummed you back to sleep.
âI love you.â you heard a faint whisper the moment before you fell back asleep.Â
Prompt: The two of you are the only two still awake on the plane during the long flight back to Quantico after a case closed. You discuss several topics, however the biggest one is fears.
Warning: talks about drowning
A/N: I feel like Iâve been sort of having a weird writers block lately so sorry if this story sorta sucks.Â
âWhatâs your biggest fear?â you asked Spencer after several moments of the two of you sitting in silence, your last conversation about the plausibility of extraterrestrial life having just died out.
The flight had only taken off an hour and a half ago and already everyone was out like a light. Everyone except for you and Spencer of course, considering you two still had the internal clocks of college students who didnât understand that 3am was a late time to go to sleep at.Â
âBiggest fear?â Spencer asked, furrowing his brow slightly. âI donât really think about fear, itâs simply a neural response in the amygdala and itâs a rather unbeneficial one at that. Fear often stops us from doing things that make us happy in life.â he spoke softly, putting his elbow up on the back of the jets sofa and placing his head in his hand.
âWell some people view fear as a motivator.â you retorted, raising an eyebrow as you shifted your body to face Spencerâs more. You loved talking to him, even if it was him proving you wrong or him rattling off Derekâs phone number for you. Something about his voice was intoxicating to you. No matter what he was saying you would be hooked.
âIt may be a motivator for some but itâs a very low level motivator. You do something because youâre afraid of punishment not because you want to do something. And if you want to do something than fear wouldnât even be involved in it at all.â
âWhat about sky diving? I think that would be fun but Iâm terrified to do it.â you responded back, stumping Spencer for a second, his eyes falling down to look at the small space in between the two of your bodies on the sofa.Â
âBut in that situation fear is stopping you from doing it.â Spencer retorted, bringing his eyes back up to yours, his gaze freezing for a brief moment on your lips.
âNo itâs not, Iâm going skydiving in two weeks.â you chuckled, knowing you had stumped him once again however also knowing that if you didnât end it right now that the debate would continue for the rest of the plane ride. âBut letâs ignore all that, what is your biggest fear? Everyone has one.â
âI donât know.â Spencer responded after a moment of racking his brain for a time he was truly scared. âWhatâs yours?â
âProbably drowning.â you responded in a heart beat, knowing exactly what it was that got your heart racing. âWhen I was a kid I was at the beach one day with my parents and I was swimming around when a riptide came and it started washing me out into the ocean.â you spoke, recalling the incident that had happened to you when you were younger. âI started breathing in water because I couldnât get my head above water. Then my dadâs hand came out of no where and he grabbed me and pulled me up out of the water.â you paused, a small chill running down your spine. âI never liked water much after that.â
Spencer looked at you for a moment, his lips slightly parted as his brain comprehended the story that he had never heard before.
âSo whatâs your biggest fear?â you asked once again, hoping that you telling him about yours might help him think of one.
He looked at you for a moment before answering.Â
âHaving something bad happen to someone I love.â
Prompt: You are several weeks pregnant with Spencerâs child and one night he comes home from a case involving children being killed and asks if youâre sure you want to bring a child into this world, especially when you are more at risk being the family of a BAU agent.
Warning: description of a case involving kids being killed (violent)
You turned off the kitchen faucet and dried the last of the plates you had just finished washing. You placed the plate back into the cabinet, softly swaying your hips to the classical music that was playing throughout the small townhouse you and Spencer owned together.Â
Even though you were only six weeks pregnant and you knew the baby growing inside you couldnât hear yet, you had decided it would serve you good to get used to the classic playings of Beethoven and Bach, music which you couldnât stand. However, Spencer had insisted that as soon as the fetusâs ears develop and it can begin to hear sounds that classical music be the only thing that gets played in the house.
You entered the bedroom and laid down on the bed, checking the clock that sat on the bedside table. It was 10:31pm, Spencer said he would be home at 10:40pm. Nine more minutes until he was back with you and you couldnât wait.
You hated being home alone and you hated being away from him.Â
You grabbed your book off of the night stand and leaned back so you were propped up nicely against your large pillow, your body relaxing as you opened it to the page you had left off on, your eyes beginning to comb through the words.Â
You had gotten so into the book so quickly that you hadnât even heard the front door open and close. It was only when you saw a figure enter into your peripheral vision that you glanced up, a blank faced Spencer standing in the doorway. You watched as he dropped his bag at his feet and walked over to the opposite side of the bed that you were laying on, letting his body collapse onto the mountain of sheets. He pushed his body forward ever so slightly so his face was above your belly before he gently kissed it and then rested his head on it.
âBad case?â you asked, placing your book on your chest, keeping it open to the page you had just finished reading. You brought your hand up and gently ran your fingers through his messy hair, coaxing him to talk about whatever it was that was bothering him.
âYes, very bad.â he responded, rubbing his hand up and down your thigh softly.Â
âWhat was it about?â normally you hated hearing about the things the BAUâs cases normally entailed. You were a sensitive soul, caring and kind, hearing about the horrible things people were capable of never sat well with you. But you could tell this case was different, it effected him on a different level than the other cases.
âThree kids were kidnapped and killed.â he spoke, his words sending chills down your spine at the thought of your own child. âThey were strangled and cut up to be disposed of. We couldnât identify one of them. The other two were two girls, both of them four years old.â
The two of you laid in silence for several moments, the quiet thickening in the room as your hands continued to stroke through Spencerâs soft hair.Â
âAre you sure you want to do this? Do you still want to bring a kid into this world?â Spencerâs voice suddenly spoke, cutting the silence. Your hand stopped for a moment as your mind registered his question.Â
âOf course.â you responded, moving your book off your chest and sitting up, Spencerâs head still remaining in the same spot, only shifting upwards slightly so he could look at you. âJust because things like that happen doesnât mean theyâll happen to our kid.â
âIt doesnât mean that it wonât happen to our kid either though.â Spencer murmured back. âAnd you would both be at an added risk being the family of a BAU agent.â
âYou think I didnât know that when I married you? Or when we decided we wanted to try for a baby?â you asked, a small smile coming onto your face as you briefly recalled those moments in your memories. âSecurity is never promised and nothing is ever certain, but what I know is that I want to have a family with you and that this little guy inside me while have two parents and an entire BAU family that wonât let anything happen to him.â
The room was entered into silence for another moment before a small smile came onto Spencerâs face now, your words sinking in.Â
âHow did I get so lucky?â he asked before sitting up and kissing you gently.
âSame way I did.â you whispered against his lips.
Prompt: You are asleep on the plane and when you wake up you keep your eyes closed and hear Spencer talking to Prentiss about you and how you make him feel.
A/N: sorry this is super short!! because itâs so short i posted two imagines in one night!
âCan we please not talk about this when sheâs right there?â you heard Spencer speak, his voice at first just an echo in your dream state.Â
It had been a long couple of days for the BAU team with a case that seemingly would never be solved. It had taken several sleepless nights and several gallons of coffee to get everyone through it, however now the case was on its way to the courts with a psychopathic murderer and a truck full of evidence to prove his guilt.Â
It seemed as if the moment the wheels of the private jet left the tarmac you had been out like a light, the caffeine that had been pulsing through your veins finally giving in and allowing you to sleep. However, that was almost three hours ago and now you were slowly waking back up, your internal clock telling you that although you had only gotten three hours of sleep the sun would be rising soon.Â
âCome on Spence, (Y/N) is fast asleep, you saw how tired she was.â you heard Prentissâs voice speak now, your mind snapping the conversation into focus the moment you heard your name.Â
You were now wide awake, however your eyes remained shut.
âI see the way you look at her.â Prentiss coaxed in a low and sweet voice. You could practically see the smile on her face as she spoke.
âSheâs just... different from any other girl Iâve ever talked to.â you heard Spencer say in a quiet voice, the fear of you somehow hearing still prominent in his mind. âItâs as if she was handmade for me, everything about her is so perfect to me, I canât imagine myself without her.â
You had to forcibly stop yourself from not letting a smile slip onto your face as you listened to his words.
âAnd everyday I discover something brand new about her and every day I just care about her more and more.â he paused. âI need her more and moreâ you could hear the faint smile in his voice. âWe can talk for hours and hours about anything and she wonât even begin to get bored. Most people just sit there and space out while I talk and then get up and leave but with her, she listens and talks to me.â he paused once again. âI think I love her.â
Hello everyone!! This is an important note/disclaimer for some of my future posts so please read!
I used to write on a multi-fandom blog with my friend and I wrote several Criminal Minds imagines on that blog. I am incredibly proud of these imagines that I wrote and because of that I will be posting them on my own Criminal Minds blog in the upcoming weeks. Whenever it is a story off of that blog there will be a disclaimer that looks like this:
DISCLAIMER: I used to write on a shared multi-fandom imagines blog and I wrote several Criminal Minds imagines that I wanted to bring onto my own Criminal Minds blog. This imagine is my own and it was written by me even though it was first posted to a different blog. I hope you enjoy :)
I feel as if some of these imagines are my finest works so I want to share it with the strong Criminal Minds family that we have built together! These imagines will be showing up every once and a while on days that I do not have a fresh imagine up and ready to go.Â
I will still be writing fresh imagines and doing requests and everything but sometimes life or writers block gets in the way and that is what these are for so you guys will always have an imagine to read from me everyday :)

Prompt: You wake up in Spencerâs apartment after spending the night with him.
Warnings: super fluff
Your eyes groggily opened as the sound of a car horn honking outside the half open window awoke you from your peaceful slumber. The moment you were snapped from your dream state you remembered exactly where you were, the all too familiar room focusing in your vision. After all, this wasnât the first time something like this had happened.
You had spent the night at Spencerâs apartment after karaoke night with the fellow BAU team members ended more sloppily than any of you had expected. The celebration of the recent successful case closing had gotten the best of you and the rest of the team and everyone had left the local bar around 1am hailing taxiâs left and right. That still didnât answer your question of how you ended up at Spencerâs however.Â
You sat up and rubbed the small crusties out of your eyes, afterwards stretching your arms up into the cold air and letting out a quiet yawn.Â
You slid your body out of the large bed as motionlessly as you could as to not disturb Spencer before grabbing the closest pair of pants you could find and slipping them on over your bare legs. The pants just so happened to be Spencerâs black sweatpants which only you had ever seen him wear. He called them his âhouse pantsâ.
You let your feet glide across the wooden floor, being careful to avoid the spot that sat to the right of the door that creaked every time pressure was put on it. You had learned about that spot the first time you had ever spent the night at Spencerâs, back when you tried to sneak out before he woke up. Now however, you would normally go into the kitchen and make breakfast for the two of you.
You walked into the small, rarely used kitchen and grabbed the only frying pan Spencer owned from the hook that it hung from. Spencer wasnât much of a cook, making his kitchen seem as if it was more of a hotel room kitchen rather than an apartment one. He had the bare-minimum.Â
You placed the pan on the stove top and walked over to the fridge, opening it and grabbing the eggs that sat on the top shelf.Â
You slowly went through the process of making scrambled eggs, your head still slightly groggy from the alcohol you had drank far too much of last night.Â
You had just turned off the stove top with the freshly cooked eggs steaming away when you felt two arms wrap around your waist. The noise of your cooking mustâve covered the sound of Spencer waking up and walking out into the living space.
âGood morning.â you spoke softly, feeling his warm body press up against your back as his head found its way onto your shoulder.
âGood morning.â Spencerâs voice whispered back. âHow did you sleep?â
âLike a baby.â you responded, letting your own head lean backwards onto his shoulder, feeling his lips gently kiss your exposed neck.
âBabies actually sleep in erratic time bursts and they often-â he began only to have you turn around suddenly and press your lips up against his, cutting him off.
âItâs too early in the morning for my brain to handle your brain.â you chuckled, pulling away from him for a moment before peeking his cheek and returning to your food, a smile curling onto Spencerâs lips as he returned to his previous position pressed up against you.
âHotch told us we didnât have to come in until noon today.â he spoke, watching your hands as they gave the scrambled eggs one last stir with a metal fork before reaching over to grab two clean plates that you had gotten down from the cabinets several minutes ago.
âWhen did he say that?â you asked, forking the eggs evenly onto each plate, furrowing your brow as you racked your brain trying to remember when you had heard Hotch say that.
âLast night, you were probably too drunk to remember.â Spencer chuckled softly next to your ear before nipping lightly at your lobe, causing a small chill to run down your spine.
âWell in that case.â you smirked, placing the fork on one of the plates and turning around so your face was inches away from Spencerâs. âI guess we have a couple hours.â you smiled, kissing him deeply before you felt his arms tighten around you, pulling you up towards him.
Request (@bolieve-that): Have you got a masterlist with links ???? I love your writing â¤ď¸ď¸
* means that it is one of the top three most popular posts I have (in the case of Derekâs itâs the most popular)
Spencer Reid:
Blizzard - The BAU loses power and gets snowed in due to a massive blizzard outside. Rather than sitting around and freezing you stand by the door looking out at the snow only to be joined by Spencer who ends up catching snowflakes together on your tongues.
Bad Apple - You and the rest of the BAU have a case in a small city and while you are setting up at the local police department you have a run in with a sexist cop and Spencer shows up and defends you.
Soulmates - A longer write up of the imagine of âImagine Spencer Reid not believing in soulmates but he is proven wrong when he first meets youâ.Â
Atheist - You get kidnapped by an unsub who believes he is God and tortures you. Then right before he is about to kill you Spencer and the rest of the team barge in and Spencer talks him down from taking your life and turning you into one of his angels.
Turbulence - You hate planes and when the BAUâs private jet get caught up in rough turbulence Spencer helps you get through it.
Calm - After Prentiss âdiesâ Spencer shows up to your house the night after her funeral and comes to you for comfort.
Treat You Better - You are in an abusive relationship and one day when you come in you donât realize one of your bruises is visible. While no one else notices, Spencer notices right away and pulls you out into the hallway and tells you how he could treat you better than your abusive boyfriend can.
Man in the Mug Shot - You have to go undercover in a club to lure the unsub out into an ally for SWAT and the BAU to catch him. While you have to act flirty and get the unsub to want to come home with you, Spencer is gritting his teeth the entire time while he watches on from the van parked in the ally.Â
Quarter - Spencer teaches you the quarter trick where you roll a coin on top of your fingers (I donât think I explained that well lol).
Dim Light - You get kidnapped by the unsub and tortured and right before he is about to rape you (warning) the SWAT and BAU bursts in and stops him. You pass out and when you wake up Spencer is in your hospital room watching over you.
Making it Easier - This is a link to a smaller list with links for a mini series I did! This list includes links to Captive (Part One) which is when the reader gets kidnapped by the unsub and there is a race against time to get her back, Held (Part Two) which is when Spencer helps you deal with nightmares you begin to have after the incident with unsub, and Craving (Part Three) which is after a night of Spencer helping you deal with a nightmare and the two of you wake up together.
Breakthrough - You and Spencer have a breakthrough conversation during a case and the other team members canât help but listen in and find it cute.
Plane Rides* - You and Spencer fall asleep on the private jet together on the way back from a case.
Sleepy Head - You and Spencer live together and you two love to have night time talks together before falling asleep. This is one of your night time talks.
Interview* -Â You and Reid were put in charge of interviewing the grandmother of a victim, however are both surprised at what goes down, especially when your friendship turns into a little more than a friendship in a split second.
King Me -Â On the flight back home after a high stress case, you and Morgan end up playing a game of checkers. Letâs just say it gets so interesting that even Reid puts down his book and looks one, even he gets stuck up on some moves.
Murder Chat* -Â You and Spencer have an interesting conversation one night while your both finishing paperwork revolving around your last case.
IQ to Match -Â Reid never thought much of the possibility that someone could be smarter then him. Obviously their were the worlds geniuses that passed him mentally, but he never expected the person who he was sitting next to on the BAU private jet to out him.
Derek Morgan:
Memories - After a long day in court the man you were trying to save gets put away for good. When you return to your shared apartment with Derek you finally break down from all the stress and exhaustion the case brought you.Â
Surgery - You get shot while out on the field and Derek stays with you while youâre in the hospital all the way until you are about to go into the OR.
Home Sweet Home* -Â You are right in the middle of a case where you and the rest of the group is being targeted, so for extra safety, you all pair up and spend the night at one another house and you just so happen to get to be sleepover pals with Derek.
The Butcher and The Blonde -Â You have a nasty encounter with the Butcher and Morgan comes in to protect you.
