some people in district 4 know sign language HEAR ME OUT. while all other languages in panem are banned, it’s interesting to think about how the people in district 4 could utilize sign language as a means of communication to each other out on the water or underwater. they sign to each other while fishing as to not scare the fish away with their conversations and laughter. they sign on their rowboats to communicate with those on a passing sailboat just coming back to shore instead of having to shout. they sign in secret far away from peacekeeper eyes. and they later sign in rebellion to form plans to fight back against the capitol

the war is won. but she is not unscathed. she is freshly wounded, and she doesn't know if she will recover. finnick is dead. mags is dead. she is all alone. it's why she feels sensitive and still scares like a deer and thinks everyone is more foe than friend. it's proven even now that there's no allies in the capitol. everyone is playing their part in this show. but abilene has gone off script. only annie and peeta went with her.
the thought of another hunger games makes her feel like ants are crawling all over her face. we need to do something!!! we need to do something because he is dead, because she is dead, because they are all dead. they fought for and dreamed about a better world and this goes against everything they wanted and died for!!! annie wants to shake abilene's shoulders and scream in her face because she feels the other woman's tiredness like it is her own.
