Firestar's Quest
Like with most of the Super Editions, I didn't have access to the book when I was a kid, so this was my first time reading this book! Getting through the first 15-or-so chapters felt like a slog. It felt boring and repetitive, but I really enjoyed it once Firestar and Sandstorm finally reached their destination. It was kind of a nice break to read this Super Edition after the previous three, even though I absolutely loved two of them, because even though there were some sad moments, I didn't cry so hard that I couldn't see through my tears to read.
Bluestar's Prophecy - Finally Finished!
[Spoiler Warning!!] I took a 6-month break from reading Warriors in the middle of this book. I can't exactly remember why now, but things got chaotic around Christmas and then I had a bunch of new things to read... But I finally got back around to Warriors and restarted this book! It was a devastating read like I had assumed, but I don't think I liked it as much as I liked the previous two Super Editions I read (Yellowfang & Crookedstar), but maybe that's just because I sobbed slightly less during this read. I think a couple of the reasons I found it less emotional were because of how little it felt Bluefur actually interacted with Oakheart, and after the loss Moonflower earlier in the book, the losses of Snowfur and Mosskit didn't feel as impactful. I do also think that the ending felt a little rushed and had some contradictions to other books in the series, and I thought it was a shame that Whitestorm growing up was skipped over - but I know the story wasn't about him so it does make sense. I definitely still loved this book, but I think I enjoyed the first half a lot more than the second!

Which warriorcat do you think has the worst name? Like either for sounding dumb or being insulting, etc
I find cats whose names have been changed to describe their injuries or trauma to be quite heartbreaking. Two of the saddest ones to me are Brightheart's old name Lostface, and Crookedstar having his name changed from Stormkit to Crookedkit after his accident.
Brightheart was able to have hers changed, and Crookedstar was more or less able to come to terms with his name, but both of their names were changed when they were helpless - one on their deathbed and one only a tiny kit - and their names were chosen with malice at a time when they just needed to be loved :(

what is your favourite cover art for a warriors book?
I thought this would be really tricky to answer initially because I love so many of the original covers! (the new ones are starting to grow on me as well)
But then I remembered how magical the box set of The New Prophecy felt when I received it as a birthday present when I was probably 9 or 10. I genuinely felt like it held the magic of starclan and thought it was one of the prettiest things I had ever been able to call my own <3
If I had to choose only one, it would have to be Midnight <3 I love everything about it - from the artwork to the text colour to the texture of the cover!
Bluestar's Prophecy - Chapter 9
The third super edition in my Warrior Cats re-read, is already as devastating as the last two (Yellowfang and Crookedstar.)
Similarly to Crookedstar's promise this book wasn't one that I was able to get my hands on as a child, and although I am loving it now, I am not sure how I would have gotten through chapter 9 as an eight or nine year old.
These super editions have been heart-breaking and there are many, many more ahead. I am currently thinking to myself that surely no other will be as devasting as the book I am currently reading. (However I had also thought that about Yellowfang's Secret, and then Crookedstar's Promise)
I am dreading having to read Bluestar's thoughts as she loses her sister, gives up her own kits, loses her mate, her friends and then her sanity - especially after having completed this chapter, and especially knowing that I am going to watch her world unfold after previous books have shown me ways her life could have been completely different.
