Twisted sense of beauty

This scene shows just how truly frightening Morticia Addams can be. Worried for her husband and suspicious of Fester’s intentions, Morticia leads Fester through the family graveyard. She explains the terrible acts of violence and death that has befallen their family and ends the tour with the Addams Credo.

I didn’t realize this at first, but this is Morticia threatening Fester with a very horrible death if he dares betray the family. She is so subtle and pleasant but her words are razor sharp.

This is what makes Morticia such an amazing woman. She is passionate and very sweet (in her own way) to her family but is very cold and calculating towards those who would dare hurt them. She doesn’t have to raise her voice or curse someone out. She just explains, in her own way, the consequences of what would happen to those who crosses her family.
