welcome to #CQMMANDERBOND , i’m roz ( he / him ) and this is an independent , private and very selective rp blog for ian fleming’s james bond. my portrayal is film ( the dani.el crai/g collection ) and headcanon based with influence from the books which i have started to read. whilst this portrayal is a more present timeline ( with james having been born in 1968 , i do have a verse that adheres a little more to the books but this is request only as of right now. heavily affiliated with @swannbond / @handgrenadebrains  & @ritterlich / @lenzimanot

ACTIVITY : this blog is low activity and now my main blog , i am a full time university student who is neurodivergent with two disorders ( mental illness ) that can make both communication ooc and writing difficult at times. because of this my activity might fluctuate meaning some days i might be able to write quite a bit , others i might only be able to reblog pictures / character study posts etc or i might not even be on the dash at all.

FOREVER & A DAY : whilst i do have to change certain aspects of this part of james’ canon in order to make it work with the daniel craig collection , i do consider the events that take place in it to have been his first mission as 00 agent and because of this , they play a big part in how he sees himself in his main verse. irwin wolfe , sixteen and reade griffith are three people that haunt james relentlessly.

AGE : in my main verse i play james at the age of fifty-three and this is not up for discussion. whilst i have and will play around in james’ other verses where he is younger , i will not age him down in his main verse. i’ve been asked to in the past and tbh it annoys me. there is no reason that james cannot be a 00 agent in his fifties. it’s also impossible for me to write james as a 00 in his twenties ( as i have been asked before ) when james was a commander in the navy before he joined mi6. to write him as a 00 at the age of 20 would erase that background and a large part of who james is.

SKILL LEVEL : james is considered to be the best at what he does and the youngest person to be appointed 00 status in history. he is highly skilled with an extensive naval background. james is a valuable agent and whilst his methods don’t always play by the rules , he tends to get results. he is not easily beaten and the way i write him will reflect this. he’s been a 00 agent since he was 38 and he’s now 53. he has experience in this field and he has made a name for himself. That being said he can be beaten , it’s not impossible. i am always up for plotting things out etc , but please don’t assume james is defenceless because he’s not.

FACE CLAIM : my face claim is danie/l cra.ig and i have no plans to change this. whilst i do enjoy the other bond films ( although i haven’t seen some of them in YEARS ) , it is daniel’s portrayal that i like the most. he encompasses for me who james is.

                                                  THE PAST ISN’T DEAD.

Skyfall is where we start , a thousand miles and poles apart. Where worlds collide and days are dark. You may have my number, you can take my name. But you’ll never have my heart   / I’m prepared for this , i never shoot to miss but I feel like a storm is coming, If I’m gonna make it through the day then there’s no more use in running. This is something I got to face /   I should’ve known that i’d leave alone. Just goes to show that the blood you bleed, is just the blood you owe.

Remus and his twin brother Leonardo were orphaned at the age of three years old when their parents were killed during a mission for MI6. After they were both put into foster care , they bounced around together until they were about five years old - when they were cruelly separated. Remus would not see Leonardo again until they were both eighteen years old , meeting at the same Naval academy that James Bond ( a few years older than them ) had attended himself.

Remus’ early life was filled with trauma. He was bounced around in the system for years before he eventually wound up in the care of Anthony and Rose Greene. He was twelve years old when he entered their home & fourteen when they chose to adopt him. His  adoptive parents were cruel  and sometimes downright abusive, parentifying him and making it clear that the only reason they adopted him , was so that they had someone to raise their children for him. His adoptive siblings were toddlers at the time he moved in , and he pretty much did everything for them until he was eighteen.  On Remus’ eighteenth birthday, Anthony murdered Rose, and was arrested the next day. Remus was in the room when it happened, he took the children and ran , ushering them into a neighbours house. The children were later taken into the care of social services and Remus, being a legal adult - was on his own. He signed up for naval academy later that year, knowing his own father had done the same at his age.  Joining the navy however wasn’t a dream for Remus. He simply wanted to escape and it seemed like the most plausible option. When he went on to join the navy officially, his superior officer at the time was James Bond ( my portrayal specifically but im always down to talk things out / plot with other variants of James ). They began to have an affair of sorts - which was later brought to the attention of commanding officers ( it was later revealed that it was Leonardo who outed the situation ). Because James’ name wasn’t mentioned , Remus took the brunt of disciplinary action and didn’t name James. He left the Navy quietly , and moved to America where an old friend had mentioned he might have a job for him.  The job fell through and Remus began to burn through his savings - taking work that wasn’t strictly legal in order to keep a roof over his head. Given his skills however , he was picked up by Felix Leiter who got him a job with the CIA. It was the first time Remus had felt like he had a home , a family. He genuinely had found his place. He was good at what he did. The CIA gave him opportunities and eventually Remus was able to study and gain the qualifications he needed to be a profiler. He’s even worked with the FBI as an liaison officer here and there. During a mission for the CIA however , Remus was captured and drugged over a period of time to keep him compliant during torture. Due to this , he became addicted to opiates and it’s something he’s struggled with over the years. Only a few people are aware of this.

He’s kept tabs on James over the years , but he didn’t reach out. It wasn’t until around the timeline of Spectre that Remus returned to England , with Felix and M agreeing he could be a liaison Officer at MI6. M saw the value in the things Remus could do , and thought it would be prudent to have him around. Remus saw James briefly from a distance , when Blofeld was arrested , but James didn’t see him. He eventually was reuinited with James when James returned to England in the No time to die timeline. Remus was there when James brought news of Felix’s death.  Post No time to die timeline - Remus leaves the CIA , and joins MI6 officially, returning to England permanently. He eventually goes on to become 005.   RELATIONSHIP WITH LEONARDO EVANS. His relationship with his twin brother is tense. Leonardo suffered as Remus did growing up but his experiences were vastly different. Leonardo was / is , jealous of his twin brother because Remus has everything that Leonardo has struggled to acquire. He has people who love him , he has a family in the sense that he chose these people and they chose him. Leonardo has his connections , his wealth and influence and power , but he lacks love in his life , lacks family. He trusts very little. Because of this , Leonardo has made it his mission in life to take everything from his brother so he can feel even a tiny bit of what Leonardo feels every single day.
