i find it so repulsive when people are at a touristic landmark and they take a video that starts with THEM covering their mouth in feigned awe before the camera turns to the landmark... this is so corny man. hashtag influencer

of course the next step would be not just to ban posting pics, but to ban taking pics of your trip in general... a bit radical because it lumps together people making a living out of posting pics on social media and people taking a family picture in front of like, the tower of pisa - and one of these has the argument "wouldn't you want a memory of your trip?" which i'm not arguing against. because *i* would also want a memory of my trip lol. but that being said, i think overall it WOULD be an improvement... it would also be really interesting as an experiment to analyze why people travel and what do they want to get from it: for example, how many (if any) of the people queuing to get to the front of the mona lisa would you lose if you banned taking pics of it?
