oof, that’s a tough one, i am not at all great at giving advice,,,,,

i suppose one advice i tend to keep at the back of my mind is to take art at your own pace

there are some days you can draw anything, there will be some where you will draw nothing, as frustrating as it is, it happens and thats okay

i know the feeling of wanting to create but not being able to, so many unfinished projects in the back of my mind i could be working on, maybe finally finish one, but here i am in bed on my phone, it’s discouraging sometimes

even if i did force myself to draw i think i wont make anything significant or at a standard i want it to be. ofc, everyone has a different case, some may benefit from doing it

ill find myself moping that im not able to draw, but theres just no benefit at all, it can only discourage you

i start to accept the place i am at right now, and the sooner i accept it, the faster i can act on it. “oh im doomscrolling” i think to myself, i get up from bed and close the app on my phone. i think thats a good first step
