Dee Reynolds:

They truly act like she doesn't exist outside of being the "only brain cell" trope, which isn't even accurate because she is just as crazy as the rest of the gang. I have seen so much analysis on the sunny characters, but when it comes to Dee, there seems to be a wall that people run into where she is so underexplored.

Dee might be one of the most interesting characters in this show. The way you see her change as the series goes on from trying to be normal to just becoming completely terrible, honestly worse than her brother, is so interesting. Also, her relationship with her family is FASCINATING - from the codependency on her brother, the antagonistic relationship with her mom, to the oddly sweet (yet still dysfunctional) relationship with Frank, she has so much lore that really makes her so well rounded. She is incredibly vain, wrathful, and will use the others' weaknesses to her advantage, but she is also frequently the butt of a joke, she is the underdog. She typically is the one who has to deal with the consequences of the gang's choices, and when those few episodes show her psychology and how she wants to have a life outside of her friends, she ultimately can't because they still give her the validation she has always craved as a child. Her brother, while cruel, will never leave her; her childhood friends literally cannot function without her because if she isn't there to be the scapegoat, then they will fall apart. She is such a tragic figure, and I love her for her messiness. Also, she is hilarious, and I love that for her.

Rose Quartz / Pink Diamond:

For quite a while she was seen as perfect bean. When the big reveal happen then she wast just seen as evil dictator abuser who lied to everyone. Also was seen very weirdly in very extreme ways as a body positivity icon.

She was an amazingly complex character who lived a very difficult life but the fandom couldn't handle such a gray character. I love her and thinks she deserve the recognition of being one the best written characters by Rebecca Sugar instead of cringe.

Oh wah wah she used to be an evil dictator who colonised other planets and on an interpersonal level treated almost everyone in her life badly. sorry you can't stand to see a girlboss winning.
