I wanted to launch some new designs and this one was on my mind for a while... The lotus flower is one of the archetypes of our psyche. An icon embedded in the collective consciousness for eons. It’s a symbol of mind-expanding experiences brought on by enntthheogens and of a higher self that finds a long-sought zen. Ancient Egyptians drank blue lotus flower with palm date wine to connect with Spirit and each other. Today we are less sensitive to such substances and most humans require a sledgehammer of potency to feel the effects. When I was a Burning Man, I witnessed an art installation of a lotus opening and sparkly fireworks glimmering in the night sky. One of those magical out-of-this-world experiences that you can only see on the Playa. Later during a guided meditation this image came to me in my minds-eye and I understood it’s true meaning. #startuplife can be brutal, but the trumphs and opportunity for self-sufficiency are immense. I’ve been on my own since I was 19, and in the midst of a global pandemic and economic onslaught, it’s never been more apparent that I have no one to depend on but myself. It’s a good thing that I’m so dependable. This is what slow, steady progress, determination, and raw tenacity looks like. Yes, I know that I’m intense. I have high hopes for this world and what I can contribute. I came to live out loud and to be “different” “creative” and to “challenge your perspectives of the status quo”. I’ve dedicated substantial effort and resources to educate myself, acquire new skills, and to be a voice for conscious, ECO living and dare I say the word... “healing”. My views aren’t popular but they are researched, based on critical thinking and intuition. I also reference my life experience. I grew up in a small town in Georgia, one of the few from my high school to graduate with an Ivy League university degree. I’m well-educated and have worked with some of the largest or most successful companies in the world across Wall Street, Hollywood, Silicon Beach, and more. I took a great risk six years ago to take a stand for the end of canna prohibition and to counter the message of our corrupt medical system fueled by Big Oil and Big Banks.
