every time i go on smosh twitter i feel the worst energy overcome me what the fuck is wrong with that place

as someone who was/is on smosh twitter more than smosh tumblr, i just have to say that no one was trying to 'cancel' smosh. at lot of us, me and my friends included, have been slowly leaving the smosh twitter fandom for a while, everyone for their own reasoning. for me personally, I found their content to be lacking as of late. what happened the other day with the middle eastern joke just made me feel disappointed in the people who ive looked up to for a significant portion of my life. I've been watching smosh for a decade now, and just recently their jokes have become a LOT bolder, of course it was only a matter of time before it went too far and someone got hurt/offended over it. all anyone wanted was Smosh to acknowledge and communicate with their audience over their actions. a lot of us just feel disappointed, because we feel this isn't the same Smosh we once knew.
