There are days when the silence of snow is the only comfort we need.

We always enjoy dressing up for Halloween.

Everything is perfect if you embrace the imperfections.

There are few things that make you feel more alive than the strength of an ax in you grip, the shudder of the impact up your arms, and the sound of iron splitting wood. 

When we are old and grey and some youngster tells us about the hottest new fad, the trendiest of trends, and something we "just HAVE TO try", we will smirk, raise an eyebrow, and give him this response.

Never lose faith, Dear Heart; As long as the moon still rises and the sea still rolls we can carry on.

Birthdays are kept simply, and with lots of laughter.

There is an endlessness that we feel - on summer days, in happiness, and in pain. And in that endlessness, whether joyful or sad, crazed or peaceful, we find life.

A strong back can carry the weight of the world; a gentle heart can heal it.

We are all magic.
