I am sort of frustrated about that post I made about Google Gemini giving an AI summary of Tumblr users if you google a URL because it quickly turned into a long post where people started sharing all the things the AI got wrong about them, and I'm not saying it isn't good for a laugh when an AI is wrong, but I feel like people are missing the point. Who cares if the AI offers information about you that's wrong? What's worrying is all the information the AI got right.
That initial accidental google I did of a mutual returned an AI summary that was absolutely correct, and featured information about them that would not have been obvious from a quick perusal of their blog. The first few times I googled myself the AI overview was 100% correct. The version of that post that is circulating is not the one where I shared that the AI gave me someone's real name. I had hoped that it had screwed up and it wasn't their real name after all, but no, I checked with them, and just by googling someone's Tumblr URL, I got their honest to goodness legal name. Do you have any idea how dangerous that is? Like yeah I get that it's fun to go, "Haha, AI bad at collecting information," but that's not the problem. The problem is that sometimes AI good at collecting information, and it can collect a lot more a lot faster than a normal human can, by running multiple searches simultaneously and cross-referencing a lot of different documents all in a few seconds, for a level of snooping that would take a real person hours or even days, if they could do it at all.
That is so dangerous and I need people to be angrier about the fact that Google thinks it's okay to let their AI do this for online users. If you google your legal name and you're not already famous the AI won't say shit. Because that would be creepy and invasive! So why does Google think it's all hunky dory to do it for random internet users?
If you're reading this and thinking that sounds incredibly scary/unsafe, please go into your blog settings and make sure the setting to discourse external searching is turned on!!!!
^ it should look like this ^
I've had that setting on for a long time. When I saw this post I tried googling my account and no AI summary appeared. I decided to experiment, and I turned that setting off and googled my url again–that time the AI summary appeared. It got a lot wrong, but it did get some things right, and had a concerning amount of information considering a few minutes before the AI summary didn't even appear. It also had the state I live in listed, accurately. That's not something I'm super secretive about, I have said it on here before, but it's also not something I necessarily want an AI telling someone umpromted just because they Googled my URL–frankly I think it's absolutely insane that the AI is able to do that without people questioning it. I quickly turned the discourage external searching setting back on, and I'm no longer getting the AI overviews. But it's definitely something we all should be aware of–especially on other social media sites that don't have that feature.
[ID: screenshot of a setting turned to the on position. It reads:
Discourage external searching of apollomission8
External search engines like Google or Yahoo will be discouraged from indexing your blog and showing it in search results. It is ultimately up to them to honor your request.
Link text next to this reads: Learn more]
You have to do this individually for each blog you own.

Hello! You are one of the most amazing creators I’ve ever come across. I’ve been following your work for a long time, and I remember you mentioning that you use improvisation in your comics.
How do you manage to weave such intricate details into a coherent, large-scale plot like Spellbound AU while still improvising?
I’m currently working on my own comic. I have the entire plot figured out and a mountain of notes, but no actual script. The thing is, if I write a complete, step-by-step script, I know I'll lose all interest in drawing the comic. I truly enjoy being a "gardener" and discovering the story as I go. But right now, I feel stuck because my notes feel too jumbled to actually start drawing.
Do you have any tips or hacks on how to improvise effectively, write logical transitions between chapters, and smoothly add hidden details? How do you bridge that gap without losing the excitement of being a gardener?
Thank you so much for your inspiring work!
My strategy is to have a mental map of all important plot-related details but improvise the way I show them.
So I don't plan specific events, I plan the impact the characters supposed to feel from them. I am hoping that phrasing makes sense.
That way I can keep my hints/details somewhat coherent but I also get to improvise a lot.
Like, for example, I didn't plan to draw the drinking party from the start. I just planned that I needed to show that demons can be affected my stuff that gets inside of them. And then I improvised all the ways that information was shown.
So basically the plan was -> Blurr (and readers) learn that demons can be affected from the inside.
And then the improvisation was -> Blurr making Shockwave drink healing potions, Shockwave getting drunk, the famous liquid death being a a potion as well.
This way of writing works best for me so far. Because yeah, I also lose motivation if I try to do a whole script in advance.
Hope that was helpful. Good luck with your comic:>

It would be really kind of you to share some of your tips and experience with us. I'm thinking of starting an account and I've never posted before. If you'd rather not, no worries at all — no pressure. Hope for a nice day :3
Ah yes I can do that:D You didn't specify what kind of account you wanna start so imma just go with most generalized tips
First. Your attitude matters just as much as your skill or the quality of your posts. I prefer to think about it like I am hosting a party. People wouldn't want to join a party if the host keeps saying that their food is shitty and other parties are better and picking fights with people.
People pick up vibes very well. And send similar vibes back too. If you want to have kind and supportive party you need to be a kind and supportive host:
............
Second. Blocking is everything. Someone sends a rude comment - just block. Someone asks inappropriate things - block. Picking fights on the internet results in nothing but exhaustion. And you don't want to be exhausted by arguing with someone who preemptively hates you. You just want them gone👍
............
Third. People come in groups. Groups defied by interests. It is up to you to control what kind of group you will attract.
Example! There are fans of cooking. There are fans of animation. There are also fans of hating.
So if you post about animation then you will attract animation fans. And when they decide to stay they will want more animation from you. Logical yes?
Now please pay attention. If you post hateful content. It will attract people who love to hate. As a form of recreation.
And if you post critical content then you'll attract the people who love to criticize.
And when those people decide to stay - they will start hating and criticizing everything including you.
Which is fine is you also love to hate and criticize stuff. You can watch a hundred of "why [x] is actually trash" videos with your followers and then discuss them all day lol. Who am I to stop you. I just hope I explained the mechanic.
...............
Fourth. If you see someone bringing news - never trust them blindly without checking the source. Sometimes people are trolls, sometimes they're stupid, sometimes they're a victim of misinformation and sometimes they're kids who didn't learn to analyze text properly. If you take their info and talk about it then you will subject all your followers to the same stupid lie.
...............
Fifth. I don't recommend having a big popular account if you're younger than 17-18. I know it sounds stupid and improbable yeah haha. It's just. I had my first big blog and big comic project when I was 15 and I can tell it messed me up bad. Young teens are NOT mentally equipped to manage thousands of strangers online, young teens are NOT mentally prepared to face all the creeps and scams and conflicts that can happen. Young teens cannot tell if someone is their genuine friend or is it a fucking pedophile hiding behind pfp with Papirus fanart. If you're younger than 17 I highly suggest you find a nice group of people (like a discord server maybe) and share your art with them. Or find some other place that allows you to show your stuff without being a direct admin over other people. Believe me your mental health will be much better. I know that from experience, I was that popular teen.
...............
Sixth. I know all the stuff I listed looks a bit intimidating for someone who only starts posting but trust me. Most people are kind. Most people are kind and supportive and willing to hang out. If you bring them joy then they will bring you joy right back. If you help them and listen to them - they will help and listen to you. If you make your account a good party place, if you make it welcoming - it will invite the nicest strangers you will ever meet.
................
Seventh. Make stuff for writers and fic writers. No seriously. Find a writer that you like and make something nice for them. Give them art, recommend their works, talk about their characters. You don't have to be all impressive about it, a little "here made you smth👉👈" is also good. They will be absolutely thrilled by your gifts and you, in return, will be absolutely thrilled by their happiness. Their followers will go look at your stuff. Your followers will go look at theirs. It's amazing. It's like crack to me haha
space your greens
would you be able to share some french songs you’ve enjoyed? some of my favourite songs have been introduced by you so im curious~
Hmmmmmm yeah sure
I really love french songs, have a whole collection of them:) Although. I have no idea which ones are popular so this list might be just full of stuff everybody already knows.
Oh....? French music....? Dont mind if i do
French playlist i made for my non french friends year ago
As for your list, the most populars would be Maître Gims's one and L'assasymphonie is the weird internet kid anthem hehe
I was reminded about the @keferon Earthspark JazzProwl au by my friend :)
Prowl is such a goofy little guy and it’s nice to see Jazz as the more serious one. I like it. I also think it's very nice to see BOTH Jazz and Prowl be silly little guys

As an aroace i believe my equivalent to ‘’messaging your crush and waiting for their answer giggling and kicking feet but also being very anxious and not daring to see the answer’ is when I send fanarts to artists I admire. Like dang.
I still love and draw my Earthspark Stunticons btw! Plus, finally some Menasor designs hehe ✨
