In 2012, if you wanted the fastest production Corvette ever built, this was it. The Corvette ZR1 arrived with a hand-built supercharged LS9 V8 producing 638 horsepower, enough to push the car past 200 mph while still carrying a warranty and a Corvette badge on the hood. Chevrolet engineers paired that power with carbon ceramic brakes developed for repeated high-speed stops, Magnetic Selective Ride Control that adjusted in milliseconds, and exposed carbon fiber components that reduced weight without hiding their purpose. Even the polycarbonate hood window was intentional, giving the supercharger a visible place in the story.
This #C6 #Corvette #ZR1 is now part of the “National Corvette Museum” #Sweepstakes and one winner will take it home. Entries close September 6, 2026 at 2:00 PM CT. No donation is necessary to enter.
