She was back. Dressed in her most glamorous ensemble of chunky glitter and red lips. Working the nights, and no, not like some five dollar hoe, was a lot of work. Though, being a hoe was no easy walk. There was the appeal, and the gypping. ANYWAY, She had to be in the moment all the time to make sure the club vibe was right. Corrin didn’t complain, the fact she was able to keep such a successful business running this long just kept her wanting to do more. But, Corrin had a bad habit of getting bored, so to switch it up she would come to Ricci’s, which, was now just called Marco’s in her head. Most of the food tonight had a lot to do with Corrin, her table already showcasing an array of fine cuisine when she heard a very familiar man. She didn’t dare to look up yet, Carbonara stuffed in the pockets of her cheeks. “Mm!” She chewed her food, finding his appearance no surprise. “...Please do. Now that you’re here I don’t have to look like a pig.” She slid a few dishes closer to him, nodding her head for him to eat. Meaning, he was stuck there now. “When they said you were off today I almost laughed.” She adds, patting at her mouth lightly not to fade her lipstick. “What’s the excuse today?” She ask, gently tugging at his pant leg with the point of her heel. “I’m gonna have to snatch you up and give you a proper break.”

“Love.” She says, “And don’t come for me. Love and I have a complicated relationship. It tends to constantly put me on edge.” she explains. “I only fell in love once, and it murdered me.” She then sighs, “And failure, staying stagnant. Anything that tells me to be still when I want to go.”

“That one time Lady Gaga was in Vegas performing the night I was supposed too” The thought alone making Corrin’s face light up. God. “I didn’t want to go home, so I purposely spread the news that there were technical difficulties with the lights. So, she had to postpone her show.” She then laughs, “I love Gaga! Don’t get me wrong. But, shit, I wanted to perform. She doesn’t even know I had to fight for that night. I ended up fixing the lights when my boss needed someone to fil in and I sang that night. I know, I ain’t shit.”

“Everything.” She states. “I mean, normal people scare me, weird.”

COYOTE JOE’S--- she had no business being there. Corrin made a promise, with no weight, that she’d never step another foot in this eatery. But here she was, taco almost in her mouth when a disordered woman came hopping in like leapfrog. Coyote you devil. This has been about the one-millionth time she’s tried to eat in this place and somehow she never does. First time, she got a bad case of the rumbling tummy; her stomach opening a can of whoop-ass all in her insides. But damn was Joe’s tacos the best. Corrin fastens her eyes on the other, already trying to convince herself she doesn’t hear her so she can eat her tacos and regret it later. Yet, the name Zac Efron got the girls attention. “What, he went and rented a bike just to deliberately run you over with it?” She ask, an amused tone as she placed her taco safely back into her basket. “I alway’s knew that Zac was a Bitch.” She smirks, her hand rising to her lips to keep back a titter. “...I mean, yeah, sure.” She starts, pushing her tacos aside ( for her own good ) and resting her arms along the table. “How about a slip and fall? No sign to indicate the floor was wet and you slip n slided all up and down Coyote Joe’s.” And she can’t help but laugh, of course she say’s the exact place she’s eating at. Put them in bad light for not allowing her to eat in peace without having to do backflips on the toilet.

“Honestly, my favorite song to sing is Jessie Ware’s Spotlight.” Her shoulder’s drop, a content sigh passing her lips. “That is one of the best songs that just--sends me back into a time I WISH I was apart of. The 70s.” She then rolls her eyes, “But, I can’t have my way all the time when I sing, so I usually go for any Billie Holiday song when I’m working. Seems to do the trick for all the guest. I enchant them with a spell so I can sing what I really want.”

“Absolutely!” Corrin smiles, that proud wearing, teeth barring grin. She was living out her dream. She’s traveled, made friends, lost some. What else did she need? “I’m content. If anything else arises in my life, it’s only going to be more success and positivity, honey.”

“Suaasat.” She states, lips puckering in distaste. “It’s this seal meat soup that I am not fond of.” She tells. “I went to Alaska. It was this field trip my mom put together for me being homeschooled and all. I had to live with this family, and they provided meals for me,” She sighs and shakes her head. “They were nice and all, but they were trying to kill me with that stuff. Thought my stomach was gonna rot.”

Corrin waved her down, sliding her sunglasses from her face and onto her hat. “Oh, you still are!” And she says this, big grin plastered on her face while simultaneously trekking along the coarse beach sand clad in her white floppy sun hat, and electric blue corduroy romper. Corrin was not a morning person and not the typical I can’t function kind, but the morning is for beauty rest kind.“My place is feeling a LITTLE too cramped.” She says, flipping her hair over her shoulder and readjusting her bag along her petite shoulders. An exasperated huff falling from her lips. “I thought I could use some fresh air. My house was beginning to feel like a trap.” Corrin, pulling out a beach towel and pitching it, dropped down onto it and sighed. “So, have you decided on when you were gonna tell the town you’re a majestic mermaid?” She teased.
