i can't BELIEVE this is my first post but
my abnormal psych class has to do our second project, due in class tomorrow. the last one was on phobias. can anyone guess this one?

in response to the tags, you're definitely going to learn about them (mostly paraphilias and sexual dysfunctions) but the project isn't guaranteed
my professor does it as a fun way to help us think. he calls it the You Are The Psychologist project, and we get two for the semester.
the first was about phobias, so after we did the lectures on it, we had to make up a character (or pick someone we could make an argument for) and diagnose them with a specific phobia. it has to be uncommon or one we haven't heard of. when we've done that, we answered a bunch of questions about the etiology, the therapy, the characters behavior and experience, etc.
with fetishes it was the same but with fewer specifics since sex is hard to talk about. if you do get to that unit, make sure to be respectful of the disorders and people with them. for both of these units (phobias and fetishes), there were a lot of people that were giggling and laughing throughout the class. you never want to be that person.
i can't just make myself do the project omg
i know how! i have it planned! but every time i go back to the doc i just blank slate and can't think of anything. oh, and i can't just not do it because i have to bring a printed copy to class [head in hands]
