ESPECIALLY the letter writing part! It was the most romantic thing I've ever read and I'm so so sad it didn't fit into the new way they decided to tell the story for the movie. But what exactly is stopping you from penning a letter to a pretty girl like me for a second date by candlelight? Pen, paper, envelopes, and candles still exist don't they?

Gabe: Alright, I'll be sure to keep that in mind probably!

Gabe: A million years? Sheesh dude, I know I'm nowhere near on her level but you could've given me a LITTLE credit? I think I am? No one's told me I'm not yet, so I'm guessing we're good?

Claire: Oh gosh! Thank you so much! You're so awesome too and BIG same!! Thank YOU for asking me! Yes! We should totes talk costumes! Do you wanna do scary, funny or cute? I have lots of ideas for all three of those options and I know you'd look so amaze in all of them!

Claire: I'm not the one who saw it, silly! I asked my sister who I'd be going to the dance with and she said you!

Cornelius: Awww, shucks. You're too nice to me, Claire. Thank you for waiting for me to ask! Although if next time you'd want to ask me, I wouldn't say no to that either. Cute would be my go-to, but honestly? Halloween is the perfect time to try something new, so maybe we should go for funny/scary? I'm sure you'd look wonderful regardless.

Claire: Hi Cornelius! My day HAS been great so far, but it’s even better now that you’re texting me! I don’t have a date to the anniversary party yet since I already knew you were going to ask and I’d love to go with you!

Cornelius: Really? That's amazing! I'm so glad to hear that! Not to be too forward but you're the coolest, kindest, most beautiful and well-spirited woman I've met, and I've been dying to spend time with you in this capacity. Thank you for saying yes! Should we talk costumes? Because I'm game to wear anything you'd like!

Cornelius: Hi, Claire! I hope your day has been great so far 😊 I was just wondering if you had a date to Ambrose and Lily's anniversary party yet? I'm sure you've had plenty of offers and I'd hate to step on any toes, but when I think about who I'd like to spend that time with, I thought of you right away.

Uptown Funk! It’s very Uptown Funky!

I’ve heard some people call me Corny. I’m not the biggest fan of that but I think it qualifies as a nickname.

I don’t think I’m better than anybody just because I’m a unicorn. I think every single person is incredibly special in their own way.

I wouldn’t really know, to tell you the truth. I haven’t had much of a chance to find out. In my head, I think I’d be quite a good boyfriend and that I’d shower anyone I had a chance to be with with tons of romance. I’ll keep you posted.

Self-doubt. Nobody needs it and it holds us back when all we need to do is stand up to it and tell it that we’re bigger and better than the parts of our brain that tell us we’re not good enough!

Not to brag, but I have placed at every single mile run and endurance test since I joined Monster U track. 

I think my favorite thing about myself is that I have a favorite thing about every single monster I’ve ever met. I also like that I can heal people; it feels nice to know my powers are inherently good like that.

The answer “my virginity”, although true, is getting a bit repetitive at this point so I’ll say ‘hope’. I will never, ever give up hope that everyone at their core is good.
