There’s two perspectives when it comes to me shipping a character with a bunch of different characters and it’s either “I don’t really care deeply about this character so I can see them with anyone” (when it comes to cSchlatt lol) and “I care so deeply about this character that their dynamic with anyone/many others is interesting to me” (when it comes to a character like cgeorge)

Purpled is a rookie detective for recent cannibalistic crimes in his area, “guided” by his superior officer Niki and former FBI agent Technoblade. Guided as in they don’t help him at all. If you want more info on them feel free to send another ask!

The suspect Purpled is investigating is a baking show host named Tommy, for she had coincidentally moved into the neighborhood recently when the disappearances started several weeks ago. It isn’t an exact match, but it’s enough of a lead that Niki decides to send you to do a search of his house and interrogation.

Purpled can tell there’s something off but when he finds nothing and the investigation into Tommy is over, there’s a feeling he can’t shake. He goes back to her several times more “just to talk”, but really he’s trying to find some hard evidence.

Tommy is unfortunately #toogood and it drives him up a wall

From Tommy’s perspective, she’s been doing some unobtrusive people eating the past few weeks when a detective shows up at her house. He’s prepared for this, so it goes fine, even if the detective is terribly rude. Something about him interests her, though…

When he comes back she is ecstatic. Omg what if he likes her actually… tee hee meanwhile Purpled going through the seven stages of grief trying to do his fucking job

They spiral into codependency at some point as Purpled realizes he does actually like the cannibalistic murderer he just can’t prove is a cannibalistic murderer.
