I'd already seen the purse in-person and then the makeup bag because a picture was sent to me a couple of weeks ago, but I had no idea there was a matching wallet. That's the whole damn trifecta.

Although, it might be a bit much for some people, and that's fine, not everyone has to like it, she's not hurting anyone. She's just enjoying a fandom in her own way.

Since anon wants to be weird about my friends Bobo purse, I figure I'll show off my custom Steter purse to join it 😂

😂 See, this is why I don't understand people. Some have a custom purses, someone else has shelves full of Funko Pops, signed photos, or enough convention badges to wallpaper a room.

It's fandom.

If carrying something that makes you smile is the strangest thing you do in life, you're probably doing just damn fine.

Although I'm maintaining that Wolf's purse is slowly becoming a recognizable piece of convention luggage. 😏 I'm maintaining that because I've actually seen it in-person and now had it sent to me....twice.

Not because it's "weird," but because it's almost impossible to miss. Six photos of the same guy's face on one bag tends to have that effect. 😅

"Weird" is relative, isn't it?

From the outside, sure, carrying a tote bag covered in one actor's face isn't exactly what most people do. 😄 But fandom has always had people who collect every autograph, decorate rooms wall-to-wall with posters, cosplay characters, or travel across the country/world for conventions. This just happens to be her thing.

As for the social media... being enthusiastic about someone whose work you enjoy isn't automatically unhealthy or strange. The internet tends to amplify people's hobbies because that's what they choose to post. You might see daily Ian posts, while someone else posts daily about Taylor Swift, football, cats, or even sourdough bread.

At the end of the day, I tend to judge people by how they treat others. From everything I've seen or heard, she's respectful, kind to the cast and other fans, and genuinely wants people to have a good time. If the biggest "offense" is carrying a memorable tote bag and being enthusiastic, I'd say the world's doing alright. 😉

I'm not entirely sure how to respond to this because it comes across as a bit backhanded.

You say she's cool, nice, and harmless... but then immediately follow it up by calling her weird.

As for the bag, sure, it's eye-catching. Six photos of the same actor's face is going to get people's attention. That's kind of the point. 😄

But I don't think it's fair to say people only remember the bag and not the person carrying it. If you've followed her posts from conventions, few of the Teen Wolf cast seem to remember her, not just the accessory. The bag may start the conversation, but personality is usually what people remember afterward.

At the end of the day, she's having fun, hurting absolutely no one, and seems to bring a lot of positive energy into the fandom. That's not a bad legacy to have.
